As a responsive, cross-disciplinary team of bright, curious, and innovative problem-solvers, we are dedicated to doing the right thing, every day, on every project from over 60 offices in the US, Canada and Australia.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Step into Your New Role</strong>  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Kleinfelder is adding a Survey Crew Leader in San Antonio, TX.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Act as chief of a survey crew and supervise all work in the field.</li>\n <li>Perform the more difficult survey measurement tasks using total station, GPS and other electronic survey equipment. </li>\n <li>Make decisions on all field problems, consulting with office staff and supervisor as needed.</li>\n <li>Take field notes and prepare maps and sketches from survey data. </li>\n <li>Read and interpret plans and blueprints. </li>\n <li>Make necessary mathematical computations.</li>\n <li>Operate and supervise the use of all survey equipment including: GPS receivers, theodolite instrument, levels, electronic distance meter, electronic total station, electronic data collector, laser level, Philadelphia and linker rods and level.   </li>\n <li>Check all work preformed by field survey crew. </li>\n <li>Train and instruct crew members on the proper use and care of survey equipment. </li>\n <li>Frequently drive to project/client sites to complete tasks or attend meetings.</li>\n <li>Consult with various city, county and private utilities and construction foremen.  </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Highschool diploma or GED, including or supplemented by course work in engineering, field surveying and/or Mathematics. </li>\n <li>Minimum of 5 years of field survey experience as an instrument person. </li>\n <li>Ability to prepare work and observation reports and make surveying computations. </li>\n <li>Strong oral and written communication skills and outstanding attention to detail.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of mathematics, including algebra, geometry and trigonometry.</li>\n <li>Current/valid State Driver's License with demonstrated safe driving practices required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Move Forward with Kleinfelder:</strong> Kleinfelder and its’ subsidiaries and affiliates, has been connecting great people to the best work since 1961.
