    "description": "<p>We are seeking a hardworking, energetic and detail-oriented individual to join our Garden Management Team  working on our commercial contracts.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>You will work as part of a team to maintain the appearance, safety, and overall presentation of commercial outdoor spaces. Responsibilities include ensuring lawns, landscaped areas, parking facilities, and external areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained, creating a positive impression for clients, tenants, and visitors.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span>Key responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform routine lawn care including mowing, edging and strimming</li>\n<li>Maintain landscape areas including planting, pruning, gravel raking, mulching, and watering</li>\n<li>Operate and maintain landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hedge cutters</li>\n<li>Apply pesticides and herbicides in accordance with safety regulations (if certified)</li>\n<li>Enjoy undertaking routine and repetitive tasks to ensure standards are maintained throughout the site<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>The ideal candidate will:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have a keen interest in the outdoors</li>\n<li>Have some previous groundskeeping or landscaping experience</li>\n<li>Have some knowledge of plants and seasonal care practices</li>\n<li>Be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and working outdoors in various weather conditions</li>\n<li>Have an ability to work independently and as part of a team</li>\n<li>Have strong attention to detail</li>\n<li>Have a full, clean UK drivers licence </li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>Desirable:</span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Horticultural experience &amp; understanding</span></li>\n<li>Any valid external training certificates for example PA1/6/9 or chainsaw<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>A full UK drivers licence is required for this role due to the location of our clients.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"><em><a href=\"https://www.nicholsonsgb.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Nicholsons-Employee-Benefits-UPDATED.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Click here</a> </em>to view our full benefits package.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>This position is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7.00am to 4.00pm. </span></p>\n<p><span>Part-time and Saturday hours may be available too.</span></p>",
