The UPW Superintendent will also supervise multiple mechanical subcontractors&nbsp;performing&nbsp;on an extensive fast-tracked scope on a large semiconductor project. <strong>This position will be fully onsite at the project located in Boise, ID.&nbsp;</strong></span></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 DOE&nbsp;</strong></p><p><span><strong>PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong>&nbsp;</span></p><ul><li><span>Coordinate day-to-day activities with other superintendents, mechanical field superintendents and mechanical subcontractors</span></li><li><span>Supervise multiple subcontractors and craft employees&nbsp;</span></li><li><span>Maintain and adjust project schedule&nbsp;daily&nbsp;</span></li><li><span>Manage and abide by all safety protocol&nbsp;</span></li><li><span>Provide resolution to design and constructability issues&nbsp;</span></li><li><span>Respond to customer/client requests and/or issues and develop resolution to problems using technical expertise&nbsp;</span></li><li><span>Must be able to interpret and implement proper installations in compliance with all local authority permitting, codes and site specifications&nbsp;</span></li><li><span>Provide supporting information regarding field conditions and scope for cost estimates.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span>Facilitate contractor activity ensuring performance by all contractual agreement&nbsp;</span></li><li><span>Assist with&nbsp;management&nbsp;project staffing&nbsp;</span></li><li><span>Provide clear communication verbally, written and electronically&nbsp;</span></li><li><span>Work closely with clients, architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors</span></li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><span><strong>ESSENTIAL&nbsp;FUNCTIONS:</strong>&nbsp;</span></p><ul><li><span>Standing/Walking/Sitting: Workday is combination of standing, walking, and sitting</span></li><li><span>Legs: Must be able to climb stairs - 50% of day&nbsp;</span></li><li><span>Hands/Arms: Constant use of hands/fingers for mouse/keyboard/computer use&nbsp;</span></li><li><span>Vision: Visual acuity in near, mid, and far range. Patience and professionalism are essential to being able to maintain a cooperative attitude through pressure situations</span></li><li><span>Skills in handling several work activities at once while frequently interrupted by phone calls and urgent questions on work in progress</span></li><li><span>Training in design and construction document reading, design specifications, survey theory and techniques</span></li><li><span>Highly developed visual observation and interpretation skills</span></li><li><span>Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be able to work closely with project owners, architects, engineers, equipment manufacturers, vendors, and subcontractors</span></li><li><span>Must be a dedicated team player, self-starter, flexible and be able to work well with a variety of personalities and minimal instruction.
