Plus, our BodyWORKS program brings community-based fitness classes to locations across East Tennessee, making wellness accessible for all.</p>\n<p>To learn more about Fort Sanders Health & Fitness Center, visit Fort Sanders West opportunities. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Position Summary:</strong></p>\n<p>Responsible for protecting the safety of swimmers at Fort Sanders Health & Fitness Center. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Practices preventative life guarding at the pools at Fort Sanders Health & Fitness Center.</li>\n <li> Responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of the pools and surrounding areas including controlling chemical balancing and light maintenance.</li>\n <li> Follows policies, procedures, and safety standards. Works toward achieving goals and objectives, and participates in quality improvement initiatives as requested.</li>\n <li> Performs other duties as requested.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Minimum Education:</strong>           </p>\n<p>None specified; however, must be sufficient to meet the standards for achievement of the below indicated license and/or certification as required by the issuing authority.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Minimum Experience:          </strong></p>\n<p>One (1) year experience in life guarding preferred.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Licensure Requirement:</strong>       </p>\n<p>Must have and maintain lifeguard, CPR, and First Aid certifications.</p>",
