    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><i>First Solar reserves the right to offer you a role most applicable to your experience and skillset.</i>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Basic Job Functions:</strong></p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:.25in;\">Performs, as directed, all necessary maintenance of the facility, equipment, and grounds, in a timely and cost-efficient manner.</p>\n<p><strong>Education/Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma/GED and 3+ years maintenance experience OR</li>\n <li>High school diploma/GED and 5+ years of experience in a related field OR</li>\n <li>High school diploma/GED and 2-year technical school &amp; 3+ years’ experience</li>\n <li>Journeyman’s Card from an accredited apprentice ship program preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills/Competencies:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Knowledge of manufacturing equipment.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of computer applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).</li>\n <li>Knowledge of CMMS is a plus but not required if coming in from the outside. Internal candidates need to know the CMMS system.</li>\n <li>Project Leader experiences a plus.</li>\n <li>Proven Communications Skills</li>\n <li>Ability to read prints and suggest modifications as required.</li>\n <li>Proven Electro/Mechanical skills.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of Electrical, Mechanical, Vacuum Systems and Robotic.</li>\n <li>Ability to follow Safe Work Practices.</li>\n <li>Full understanding of LOTO</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently with no supervision.</li>\n <li>Capable of troubleshooting to the systems level.</li>\n <li>Full knowledge of all PM’s</li>\n <li>Must be capable of pulling reports and entering data or pass downs into/from the CMMS system.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Essential Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Accomplishes daily assignments as scheduled and as directed.</li>\n <li>Performs the on-site service and repair of equipment.</li>\n <li>Must meet at least 90% of Estimated Repair Times</li>\n <li>Collaborates with other departments.</li>\n <li>Follows standard OSHA, EPA, and Company safe practices on all work assignments.</li>\n <li>Identifies and recommends opportunities for cost savings.</li>\n <li>May be asked to train other employees.</li>\n <li>If no tech III is available may be asked to fill in as Team Lead.</li>\n <li>Ability to read electrical &amp; mechanical drawings and technical manuals.</li>\n <li>Responsible for adherence to all safety procedures, good housekeeping standards, and the wearing of PPE.</li>\n <li>Notify EHS Department if there are questions or concerns with the management of hazardous waste.</li>\n <li>Responsible to manage waste generated from any work that is performed.</li>\n <li><i>Other duties as assigned.&nbsp;</i></li>\n <li><i>Job description subject to change at any time.</i></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Reporting Relationships:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>This position will not have direct reports.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Travel:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>No Travel is Required</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Estimated Salary Range:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>$23.37 - $32.69 Hourly, 6%</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>US Physical Requirements:</strong></p>\n<p>Manufacturing &amp; Maintenance Physical Requirements:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Will sit, stand, or walk short distances for up to 12 hours per day.</li>\n <li>Will climb stairs on a frequent basis.</li>\n <li>Will lift up to 58 pounds on an occasional basis, according to work instruction.</li>\n <li>Will lift up to 37 pounds on a frequent basis.</li>\n <li>Will push or pull up to 27 pounds of force on an occasional basis.</li>\n <li>Will push or pull up to 10 pounds of force on a frequent basis.</li>\n <li>Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects repetitively on a frequent basis.</li>\n <li>20/40 vision in each eye (with or without correction) and the ability to distinguish between red, yellow, and green is required.</li>\n <li>May reach above shoulder heights and below the waist on a frequent basis.</li>\n <li>May stoop, kneel, or bend, on an occasional basis.</li>\n <li>Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures.</li>\n <li>Ability to wear personal protective equipment is required (including but not limited to; steel toed shoes, cut resistant gloves, jackets, aprons &amp;/or arm guards, safety glasses, hearing protection).</li>\n</ul>\n<p><i>Potential candidates will meet the education and experience requirements provided on the above job description and excel in completing the listed responsibilities for this role.
