    "description": "<p>We are currently seeking talented Placement Site Engineers to join our high performing project teams and be part of our Flynn Placement Programme. </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>We have opportunities in Dublin, Limerick or Cork - please specify which would be most suited to you. </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>If you would like to join a company who wins high profile projects with blue chip clients and if you enjoy working in a stimulating environment, then Flynn is the company for you. </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Reporting to: </span>Site Engineer/Senior Engineer </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Role Responsibilities: </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Set out as directed and ensure the information provided is clearly understood. </li>\n<li>Disseminate information from drawings, specifications, etc. to foremen, operatives, subcontractors, so that they clearly understand what is required. </li>\n<li>Test materials as directed by your supervisor in accordance with the relevant specifications. </li>\n<li>Highlight discrepancies between actual vs. calculated materials required [e.g. concrete]. </li>\n<li>Meet weekly programme targets as set by site management. </li>\n<li>Record all daily activities, relevant information, and occurrences in your site diary. </li>\n<li>Record and report on work progress including that of subcontractors to your manager. </li>\n<li>Listen to and learn from more experienced site personnel - if in doubt, ask. </li>\n<li>Pursue your own development and training proactively [i.e., complete the work-based development programme in a timely manner]. </li>\n<li>Conduct your work in a safe manner. </li>\n<li>Develop professional working relationships with your work colleagues. </li>\n<li>Monitor and check setting out instruments and testing equipment. </li>\n<li>Maximise profit through your day-to-day actions: good self-management, accuracy in your own work, elimination of re-work and waste. </li>\n<li>Follow directions and attend meetings as required. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">The Candidate:</span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Currently studying a 3rd Level Degree in a related discipline (Construction Management, Civil/Structural Engineering, etc.) </li>\n<li>Good communication skills, both verbally and in writing. </li>\n<li>Self-starter with good judgement and the ability to work under pressure.</li>\n<li>Eagerness and willingness to learn and develop and the ability to critique your own work and ask for assistance when needed. </li>\n<li>Problem-solving orientation with attention to detail. </li>\n<li>Ability to communicate technical information. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Remuneration: </span></p>\n<p>This is a paid placement opportunity. </p>",
