Join a company culture that fosters a fun-working environment, encourages working together, and doing it right!</p>\n <ul>\n  <li><b>Job location:</b> Horizon Oilsands Site – Fort McMurray, Alberta</li>\n  <li><b>Shift schedule:&nbsp;</b>4x3, Monday - Thursday</li>\n  <li><b>Safety sensitive position:</b> Yes</li>\n  <li><b>Application deadline</b>: 11<sup>&nbsp;</sup>June 2026</li>\n </ul>\n <p><b>Key Accountabilities:</b></p>\n <ul>\n  <li>Develop and maintain data pipelines, dashboards, and analytical models to support operational monitoring, production optimization, and business decision-making</li>\n  <li>Analyze operational, maintenance, and process data to identify trends, anomalies, risks, discrepancies, and improvement opportunities while ensuring data quality and validating assumptions&nbsp;</li>\n  <li>Collaborate with engineering, operations, maintenance, and business teams to understand problems, define data requirements, and deliver practical analytics solutions</li>\n  <li>Support development of predictive and descriptive models for equipment performance, process efficiency, reliability, forecasting and planning use cases</li>\n  <li>Translate complex data analysis and model outputs into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders, supporting reporting and continuous improvement initiatives&nbsp;</li>\n  <li>Assist with data governance, documentation, regulatory compliance, and participate in field or site engagements to better understand assets, operations, and data sources</li>\n </ul>\n <p><b>What You Bring to the Role:</b></p>\n <ul>\n  <li>Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline</li>\n  <li>0–3 years of relevant experience in data analysis, analytics, or data science</li>\n  <li>Experience with Python and SQL for data analysis, cleaning, and modeling</li>\n  <li>Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar</li>\n  <li>Understanding of basic statistical methods, exploratory data analysis, and machine learning concepts</li>\n  <li>Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate findings clearly</li>\n  <li>Proficient with Microsoft Office</li>\n  <li>Experience or interest in oil and gas operations, production, process engineering, or industrial data environments is an asset</li>\n  <li>Exposure to cloud, version control, or data engineering tools is an asset</li>\n  <li>Class 5 driver’s license or equivalent may be considered an asset depending on site requirements</li>\n </ul>\n <p><b>What We Offer:</b></p>\n <ul>\n  <li>Competitive salary, stock options, company matched stock savings plan, annual bonuses</li>\n  <li>100% Employer paid extended Health, Dental and Vision Benefits&nbsp;</li>\n  <li>May be eligible for relocation pursuant to Canadian Natural’s Relocation Policy</li>\n  <li>May be eligible for additional premiums</li>\n  <li>Company Sponsored Fly-In/Fly-Out from Calgary or Edmonton, Alberta&nbsp;</li>\n  <li>First class camp facilities</li>\n  <li>Health &amp; Wellness Spending Account</li>\n  <li>Multiple volunteer opportunities within the community</li>\n  <li>Employee &amp; Family Assistance Program</li>\n </ul>\n <p>Check out our<b>&nbsp;</b><a href=\"https://www.cnrl.com/content/uploads/2024/03/Compensation-and-Benefits-Experienced.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\"><b>COMPENSATION &amp; BENEFITS</b></a>&nbsp;to learn more about what we have to offer!</p>\n</div>",
