    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p><strong>Job Summary:&nbsp;</strong>Install, connect, test and maintain electrical systems for a variety of purposes, including climate control, lighting, security, and communications, as well as maintaining electronic controls for machines in business and industry</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></p><ol><li>Plans, diagrams, installs and repairs electrical fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment such as switches, relays, and circuit breaker panels</li><li>Measure, cut, bend, assemble, and install electrical conduit (piping or tubing), and pull wire through conduit; Connect wire to circuit breakers, transformers, outlets, or other components</li><li>Test continuity of circuits to ensure compatibility and safety components, using instruments such as the ohmmeter, ammeter, voltmeter, oscilloscope, megger, and other testing equipment</li><li>Assemble, install, and wire electrical systems that operate heating, lighting, power, air conditioning, and refrigeration components; electrical equipment and controls; and signal and communication systems</li><li>Use hand tools such as conduit benders, screwdrivers, pliers, knives, wire strippers, hacksaws, pipe threaders, as well as power tools like drills and saws</li><li>For safety and job performance, must be familiar with the National Electrical Code (NEC), designed to protect people and property from hazards arising from the use of electricity.</li><li>Performs other related duties as required.</li></ol><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Required Qualifications:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>High school diploma or GED. &nbsp;</li><li>State electrician license&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to lift objects up to 50 pounds.</li><li>Ability to work in heights</li><li>Ability to climb &amp; work on ladders</li><li>Ability to see in full color (electrical wire is identified by color)</li><li>Manual dexterity, eye-hand coordination, physical fitness and good sense of balance</li><li>Bend, stoop, climb, stand, stretch, reach and lift arms above shoulder height repeatedly or continually over time</li><li>Safety, Lock-out/Tag-out, HAZMAT, Forklift, Electrostatic Discharge, and ARC Flash knowledge.</li><li>National Electrical Code (NEC), Comm 16 &amp; NECA Standards knowledge</li><li>Good math skills, including basic algebra</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Five years electrical related experience or have demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the above-mentioned tasks.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to read and/or understand electrical diagrams &amp; blueprints</li><li>Flexibility to travel long distances to job sites or to stay overnight out of town</li><li>Ability to work on-call rotation</li><li>Independence skills: a self-starter with the ability to work efficiently on their own&nbsp;</li><li>Good attendance history</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Working Conditions: &nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Electrical Hazards</li><li>Varying weather conditions</li><li>Varying customer environments (Food Grade, Etc.)</li><li>Varying schedules &amp; extended hours</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p></div>\n",
