Position Summary Directly responsible for site-specific pharmacy operations by guiding, directing, and leading (sometimes through other leaders and supervisors) pharmacy personnel and operations. This position is responsible for assessing current services and the coordination of resources to improve or implement new services or systems on their specific campus and area. The manager will also be called upon to represent the department through collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, vendors, and others in order to continuously improve the use of medication at Children's Minnesota. This position is responsible for assuring that pharmacy services comply with the department and health systems' policies and procedures, federal and state legal requirements, customer requirements and professional standards. This qualification is waived for completion of a pharmacy administrative practice residency. *Must be able to fulfill management competencies. *Advanced degree in a managerial, administrative, or business field (e.g. MS, MBA), preferred. *Advanced administrative training such as a pharmacy residency focused on leadership, preferred. *Managerial, administrative and business skills, preferred. *Experience with pharmacy-related project planning and implementation, preferred. Annual salaries displayed are based on full-time employment (40 standard hrs per week). Annual salaries for part-time positions will be prorated based on the employee’s scheduled weekly hours in relation to the full-time standard. When determining individual pay rates, we carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate, internal equity and organizational needs.
