Senior Product and Pricing Analyst role is responsible for executing complex and strategic product and pricing initiatives. The role supports the management of the profit & loss for Commercial Insurance, Fleet, Garage, IRCA, Property & Casualty product offerings, the completion of underwriting filings , maintenance of product and pricing manuals and policy language , consumer research to understand the needs of consumers for product development initiatives, collaboration with the Business Insights team to investigate, analyze and identify change recommendations to Commercial Insurance to ensure the operational plan targets are achieved or exceeded , collaboration with Actuarial team to identify pricing segmentation improvements promoting profitable growth for all commercial lines, subject matter expert for Fleet, Garage, IRCA, Property & Casualty system enhancements and defects assisting operational teams, the preparation and delivery of stakeholder communications and training including presentation preparation for senior leadership. This role reports to Product and Pricing Manager. What will you do: ​ Monitor the existing product portfolio to ensure overall alignment with business strategy , goals and objectives Portfolio management of existing products along with the business insights team and the product and pricing managers to ensure we achieve financial and growth objectives . This includes recurrent reviews of the Gore portfolio as well as overall industry performance . Escalate concerns and provide recommendations to address gaps to meeting desired objectives to the product and pricing manager . Perform analys i s using MS Excel and other third-party software. Underwriting filings ​ Support and assist with the completion of underwriting filings with the regulatory bodies as required . Update u nderwriting manual as required . Develop and maintain forms and policy wordings for associated products as required . Support Product and pricing initiatives ​ ​ Complete reviews of competitive positioning on rates, rules, products and coverage. Synthesize and communicate metrics and recommendations to the product and pricing manager within the organization to influence the strategic direction of Gore . This work is in collaboration with multiple stakeholders including Business Insights, Actuarial and Corporate Underwriting . ​ Support key strategic initiatives with completion of benefit tracking ​ ​ ​ Research, analyze and present findings/recommendations at the subcommittee level ​ Review defects and enhancements in accordance with build requirements and facilitate system fixes. ​ Successful implementation of the initiative requires the analyst to track the benefits of the initiative ensuring satisfaction of the original benefit analysis of the proposal. ​ Manage cross functional prioritization of system changes Regulatory reforms Review regulatory reforms and provide direction to the product and pricing manager for presentation to the sub-committee, the business unit compliance officer and commercial insurance leadership. Subject matter expert for System changes connected to EPMO Projects and Enhancements ​ ​ To support the execution of approved changes and identified streamlined improvements across P&C, IRCA, Garage and Fleet, the analyst is responsible for delivering requirements, overseeing the development and testing of the system changes as well as accountable for sign-off . What will you need to succeed: Undergraduate degree with ​ ​c ompleted or working towards CIP, FCIP and/or CRM ​ 5 years of ​ ​ Commercial Lines Underwriting experience in Dominant Line (P&C Or Commercial Auto) ​ 2 years' experience as Product and Pricing Analyst for Commercial portfolio 3 years' experience in Performance Analysis and Product development Excellent written and spoken communications skills Good Business Acumen skills and data analysis skills Good at taking initiative with critical thinking skills and sound decision making Cross collaboration and relationship building skills The expected base salary range for this position is $67,000 - $117,000. Depending on your relevant experience, skills, qualifications, market conditions and business needs, base compensation may vary. You have the potential to earn more through Gore Mutual’s discretionary bonus program which gives you an opportunity to increase your total compensation, provided the business meets its performance targets and you meet your individual goals. Please note: This range reflects the expected base salary for this role but may not represent the full compensation range for all experience and skill levels.
