They will work closely with YCCC&rsquo;s Workforce Development team to deliver engaging, relevant training that meets student needs and employer expectations.\\n\\n&nbsp;\\n\\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: &nbsp;\\n&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Deliver engaging instruction in GD&amp;T principles, precision measurement techniques, and CMM layout operations to adult learners and incumbent workers.\\n&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Provide hands-on training with measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, surface plates, etc.) and CMM software/hardware.\\n&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Teach students how to interpret engineering drawings and apply GD&amp;T symbols to real-world manufacturing contexts.\\n&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Develop and implement lesson plans, lab exercises, and assessments aligned with industry standards (e.g., ASME Y14.5).\\n&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback to support mastery of competencies.\\n&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Ensure safe use of tools, equipment, and lab facilities during all instructional activities.\\n&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Collaborate with YCCC staff to align instruction with employer needs and workforce development goals.\\n&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Communicate regularly with college staff regarding program outcomes and student success\\n&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Participate in orientation, training, or evaluation meetings as required\\n\\n&nbsp;\\n\\n&nbsp;\\n\\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: &nbsp;\\n&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Significant industry experience in precision machining, quality inspection, or related advanced manufacturing field.\\n&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Proficiency in GD&amp;T standards (ASME Y14.5).\\n&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Experience with precision measurement tools and coordinate measuring machines (CMM), including software setup and layout operations.\\n&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Strong communication skills and ability to teach adult learners with varying levels of prior knowledge.\\n\\n&nbsp;\\n\\n&nbsp;\\n\\nOTHER KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: &nbsp;\\n&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Prior teaching or training experience in higher education, apprenticeship, or industry settings.\\n&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Certification(s) in GD&amp;T, CMM programming, or related quality/inspection fields.\\n&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Familiarity with manufacturing and defense industry quality standards (e.g., ISO, DoD).\\n\\n&nbsp;\\n\\n&nbsp;\\n\\nAPPLICATION PROCEDURES: Position is available until filled.&nbsp; Please provide cover letter describing teaching philosophy and relevant experience, resume/CV, and proof of current applicable licenses. &nbsp;Employment contingent upon successful completion or references and background check.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Must be eligible and remain eligible to work in the United States.
