Join us and be part of something extraordinary.</p><p>We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Fund/Client Accounting, to join our Fund and IS Client Ops team. This role is located in Lake Mary, FL.</p><p><strong>In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:</strong></p><p><br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Conduct accounting services for assigned clients and complex funds, including determining net asset values, calculating fund performance, allocating expenses, and preparing reports<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Lead and review the work of junior team members for assigned clients or funds, providing input into methodologies and checking complex work<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Drive service improvement plans, target efficiencies, enhance processes, and perform specialist review functions within Fund/Client Accounting<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Provide guidance and review work related to cash and asset reconciliations for complex accounts or atypical transactions; resolve the most complex reconciliations<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Draft client reports on the performance of highly complex funds and provide guidance on report structure<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Regularly interact with clients to answer questions and resolve multifaceted issues regarding fund reports and accounting processes<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Evaluate GAAP and/or IFRS rules to determine the impact of new regulations on BNY Mellon fund accounting practices</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following</strong>:<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Bachelor’s degree in accounting or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;7–10 years of total work experience preferred, with demonstrated expertise in fund/client accounting for complex funds and accounts<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Experience conducting cash and asset reconciliations, resolving complex or atypical transactions, and reviewing work of junior team members<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Strong knowledge of GAAP and/or IFRS with the ability to assess regulatory changes and their impact on accounting practices<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Big 4 accounting firm experience preferred<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;People Leadership: No direct reports; provides guidance to less experienced team members.
