    "description": "<p>Job Description<br />\nQuality Assurance Inspector position conducts inspection of parts, materials, processes, and verifies<br />\nassembly operations being perfonned per planning requirements during the manufacture and/or repair<br />\nof helicopters, components and assemblies.<br />\n<br />\nEssential Functions<br />\n1. Inspecting, sampling, testing of parts, products, materials and assemblies for defects and deviations<br />\nfrom engineering drawings and specifications.<br />\n2. Use basic measuring devices (i .e. caliper, micrometer, bore gauge, scale, etc.)<br />\n3. Verify all documentation complete prior to releasing paiis.<br />\n5. Attach appropriate tags to products when required.<br />\n5. Maintain associated fonns and records.<br />\n<br />\n<br />\nDrug and Alcohol Testing Program<br />\nThe Quality Assurance inspector position perfonns functions, or is immediately available to perfonn<br />\nfunctions, that are considered safety sensitive for the purpose of maintenance or preventative<br />\nmaintenance as defined by 49 CFR 40. Therefore, employment and continued employment with the<br />\ncompany is conditioned upon full compliance of the company&#39;s DOT Anti-Drug and Alcohol Misuse<br />\nPrevention Program.<br />\n<br />\nWork Hours<br />\nThis is a full-time position, with eight hours of scheduled work Monday through Friday and any<br />\nscheduled overtime, including Saturdays, as required by workload demands.<br />\nDepartment has mandatory usage of hearing protection, safety glasses, and. respiratory<br />\nprotection.<br />\n<br />\nPhysical Demands<br />\nAbility to stand eight hours, twist, reach, as well as lift up to 45-50 lbs. Able to use both hands<br />\nto grasp, hand together with arms. Ability to make precisely coord.inated movements of the<br />\nfingers on one or both hands. Able to manipulate l,arge size objects. Capable &middot;of weari.ng<br />\nappropriate personal protective equipment.<br />\n<br />\n<br />\nPosition Type and Expected Hours<br />\nThis is a full-time position.
