    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>As a <strong>Senior Salesforce Application Developer</strong>, you will be refactoring applications to better utilize out of the box functionality, refactoring the data model to use out of the box objects, implementing code based on the user interface and/or user design specifications, ensuring industry best practices are followed during the development process, to include unit testing within the Salesforce User Interface, and mentoring mid and junior level developers.</p>\n<h2>Contributions</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Communicate and collaborate with other technical resources and stakeholders regarding status, technical issues, and creative solutions</li>\n <li>Support data migration related analysis, manipulation, and load activities for system cut-over and SFDC go-live</li>\n <li>Maintain security for Salesforce.com data</li>\n <li>Interface with business analysts and technical staff and be responsible for delivering complete work products</li>\n <li>Engage in declarative development (Flows, Lightning App Builder, Experience Cloud Sites, etc.) and configuration of AppExchange Apps</li>\n <li>Engage in application development (Apex, LWC, etc.) including troubleshooting and resolving bugs</li>\n <li>Research and keep current on force.com technologies and communicate trends and future needs to leadership</li>\n <li>Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of applications</li>\n <li>Build client trust and respect, establish client relationships, and develop rapport with client</li>\n <li>Participate and engage in Agile ceremonies and team meetings</li>\n <li>Document best practices and operational procedures</li>\n <li>Facilitate continuous improvement within the environment</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution</li>\n <li>5+ years of experience with Salesforce development</li>\n <li>Functional knowledge of Salesforce.com data structure and understanding of how to leverage the tool to meet complex process and reporting requirements</li>\n <li>Must have proven knowledge and practical application of LWC, Apex, and Salesforce APIs</li>\n <li>Eligible to obtain and maintain a government Public Trust security clearance</li>\n <li>Salesforce development and implementation experience</li>\n <li>At minimum hold current Salesforce App Builder and/or Platform Developer I certifications</li>\n <li>Experience with VSCode with Salesforce DX and Git version control </li>\n <li>Experience delivering Salesforce projects using Agile and DevSecOps methodologies</li>\n <li>Experience with Salesforce Development and Deployment Tools </li>\n <li>Experience leading, mentoring, and overseeing the work of junior developers</li>\n <li>Experience with Experience Cloud and Flows </li>\n <li>Experience with declarative configuration, Apex development, and Lightning Web Component development</li>\n <li>Able to translate user stories into working software with minimal oversight </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> Preferred Skills</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Unique combination of being business-minded and highly analytical while also having a strong technical background in Salesforce.com</li>\n <li>Able and willing to work independently with minimal supervision</li>\n <li>Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as excellent communication skills, verbal and written to both technical and non-technical audiences that are in a geographically dispersed environment (conference calls, Skype, face-to-face)</li>\n <li>Ability to produce high quality technical documentation and analysis</li>\n <li>Take initiative to recommend process improvements and demonstrate creative thinking</li>\n <li>Demonstrate self-motivation and the ability to grasp concepts quickly</li>\n <li>Demonstrate sharp, analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills</li>\n <li>Salesforce Platform Developer II & JavaScript Developer I certifications</li>\n <li>Previous work experience in or with the federal government </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>About <strong>steampunk</strong></h2>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Steampunk relies on several factors to determine salary, including but not limited to geographic location, contractual requirements, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $120,000 to $180,000.  The estimate displayed represents a typical annual salary range for this position.
