Come, stay, and grow with us.</p>\n<h2>Job Description</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<p>An experienced professional responsible for end-to-end software asset lifecycle management and IT procurement governance. </p>\n<p>This is a <strong>lead-level individual contributor role</strong> focused on strategy execution, compliance, optimization, and vendor coordination without direct people management.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Software Asset Management (SAM)   Save </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Manage complete lifecycle of software assets: <strong>request, procurement, deployment, usage tracking, renewal, and retirement</strong></li>\n <li>Maintain accurate <strong>software inventory, entitlements, and license positions</strong></li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with <strong>vendor licensing agreements (Microsoft, Oracle, Adobe, etc.)</strong></li>\n <li>Conduct periodic <strong>software audits and true-up exercises</strong></li>\n <li>Analyze software usage data to identify <strong>under-utilization, compliance gaps, and risks</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Software Procurement</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Drive end-to-end <strong>software procurement process</strong> including requirement validation, vendor selection, and order placement</li>\n <li>Review and process <strong>purchase requisitions, RFPs, RFQs, and contracts</strong></li>\n <li>Evaluate vendor proposals for <strong>commercial and technical alignment</strong></li>\n <li>Work closely with finance and legal teams for <strong>contract finalization and renewals</strong></li>\n <li>Track procurement metrics such as <strong>spend, savings, and vendor performance</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Vendor & Contract Management</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Manage relationships with <strong>software vendors, resellers, and service providers</strong></li>\n <li>Monitor <strong>contract terms, renewal timelines, pricing models, and compliance clauses</strong></li>\n <li>Ensure adherence to <strong>SLA, licensing terms, and audit requirements</strong></li>\n <li>Support negotiations with vendors for <strong>pricing and licensing models</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Governance & Compliance</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Establish and enforce <strong>SAM policies, standards, and controls</strong></li>\n <li>Ensure adherence to <strong>IT governance frameworks and audit requirements</strong></li>\n <li>Support internal and external <strong>audit activities</strong></li>\n <li>Maintain documentation for <strong>software compliance and procurement processes</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Reporting & Analytics</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Generate MIS reports on <strong>license utilization, compliance status, and procurement spend</strong></li>\n <li>Provide insights on <strong>cost optimization and license rationalization</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p>Track KPIs such as <strong>license compliance rate, renewal accuracy, and procurement turnaround time</strong></p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Experience Required</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>15+ years of experience</strong> in IT Asset Management, Software Asset Management, or IT Procurement</li>\n <li>Strong experience in <strong>software licensing models</strong> (perpetual, subscription, SaaS)</li>\n <li>Proven exposure to <strong>enterprise tools</strong> such as ServiceNow SAM, Flexera, Snow, or similar</li>\n <li>Hands-on experience in <strong>vendor contract management and audit handling</strong></li>\n <li>Experience working in <strong>large enterprise environments</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Educational Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in <strong>computer science / IT</strong>(<strong>BE / BSc / BCA or equivalent</strong>)</li>\n</ul>\n<p> <strong>Key Skills & Competencies</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Deep understanding of <strong>software licensing and compliance frameworks</strong></li>\n <li>Strong analytical and <strong>data interpretation skills</strong></li>\n <li>Expertise in <strong>procurement workflows and vendor management</strong></li>\n <li>Knowledge of <strong>IT governance, audit, and risk management practices</strong></li>\n <li>Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>",
