    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><p><br></p><p id=\"isPasted\">Job Title: Tooling and Automation Engineer</p><p>Job Summary: Responsible for design assembly processes for products. Perform the research and implement new technologies necessary to tackle complex assembly and automation problems that have direct impact to the quality and production of products. Ensure production&#39;s stability and efficiency. &nbsp;</p><p>Job Functions:</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Responsible for design, verification, and installation of tooling and fixxtures based upon project progress, timeline, and budget; ensure newly-developed tooling associated with specific project to be effective</li><li>Responsible for all tooling/fixture related work instruction drafting, revision, update, and records keeping</li><li>Provide direction and mentorship to third party machine/automation suppliers and/or CM&rsquo;s; be the technical leader and driver on owned projects; serve as a technical resource to other engineering groups and project leaders &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Organize cross-functional reviews of the machine requirements, design, qualification and capability &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Travel to the machine supplier and contract manufacturer for equipment bring-up, qualification, acceptance testing and support during build events &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Responsible for research and development of new automated cell based on current manufacturing process standards to fulfill the needs of increasing production efficiency, reducing quality issues, and reasonably minimizing cost; &nbsp; &nbsp;</li><li>Coordination between third party machine/automation suppliers and internal installation/integration team through planning, installation and integration of new automated cell. &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Designs and develops technically complex processes to improve quality and efficiency. Utilize statistical tools (such as GR&amp;R, SPC and Cp/pCk) to ensure processes/fixtures are salable and are continuing to perform properly once qualified. &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Provide early and on going manufacturing involvement to ensure new products are mechanically manufacturer with existing or being developed equipment &nbsp;</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li><li>Nothing in the Position Description restricts management&#39;s right to assign or re-assign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time</li></ul><p>Qualifications</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Languages spoken commonly in the workplace are English; the ability of bilingual, such as mandarin, is a plus.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to read, understand and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.</li><li>Ability to speak effectively and interact with other team members, other engineers, leadership and customers. &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>1 to 3 years manufacturing experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. Bachelor&#39;s degree and above, major in machine design, manufacturing, and automation or equivalent. &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Healthy. Able to Travel. Able to work in a manufacturing environment.The employee is regularly required o stand for long periods. Duties include turning at the waist, reaching, bending, squatting and lifting up to 50 pounds. Ability to pass static strength requirements (grip)&nbsp;</li><li>Clarity of vision at 20 inches or less. Use this factor when special and minute accuracy is demanded</li><li>Clarity of vision at 20 feet or more. Use this factor when visual efficiency in terms of far acuity is required in day and night/dark conditions</li><li>Three-dimensional vision. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
