The Advanced Practice Nurse will enter into a Collaborative Agreement with a psychiatrist and adhere to all regulatory requirements. The Advanced Practice Nurse will document in the clinical record in a timely manner and adhere to all consumer privacy and confidentiality practices.<br><br><u><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></u></span></span><ul><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">Performs psychiatric evaluations by collecting adequate data in compliance with SERV standards.</span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">Diagnose and treat disorders and diseases of the mind. Perform diagnosis in accordance with accepted DSM-V and ASAM criteria. </span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">Treats mental disorders in accordance with accepted principles of psychiatric/nursing practices. </span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">Recommends and orders laboratory and other testing, when indicated.</span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">Provides education and consultation to multidisciplinary treatment team members. </span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">Attends and participates in treatment team planning process, when required.</span></span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">Enters into a Collaborative Agreement with physician, as required.
