    "requisitionDescription": "<p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Location:</strong> Brighton, Colorado<br><strong>Job Type:</strong> Full-Time</p><p><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p>HBSCO LLC is a solid waste company seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic to join our fast-growing shop in Brighton, Colorado. This is an opportunity to be part of a strong, collaborative team supporting our expanding operations. The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically skilled, and comfortable working both in the shop and in the field when necessary.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Perform routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance on heavy-duty diesel vehicles and equipment</li><li>Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems</li><li>Diagnose and repair engines, chassis, driveline, A/C systems, electronic systems, and related components</li><li>Respond to emergency breakdowns and field service calls when necessary</li><li>Review, complete, and assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs)</li><li>Perform vehicle safety inspections</li><li>Complete required documentation, including parts usage, labor hours, and repair records using the company&rsquo;s truck maintenance system</li><li>Assist senior mechanics with larger or complex project work as needed</li><li>Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with HBSCO LLC and OSHA standards and follow all established safety procedures</li><li>Work on a variety of makes and models including Cummins, Caterpillar, Mack, Peterbilt, Autocar, and Kenworth</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Minimum 2 years of diesel mechanic experience (required)</li><li>Waste industry experience preferred, but not required</li><li>A/C Certification preferred</li><li>Valid Driver&rsquo;s License required</li><li>Must provide own tools</li><li>Basic computer skills required</li></ul><p><strong>Schedule &amp; Work Environment</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Monday &ndash; Friday</li><li>Required hours: 3:00 PM &ndash; 12:00 AM (or when the job is done)</li><li>Evening/Night shift position</li><li>40 hours per week, with overtime available as needed</li><li>In-person role with shop and field work</li></ul><p><strong>Compensation</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>$30.00 &ndash; $45.00 per hour, depending on experience</li><li>Pay discussed with management</li></ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>401(k) with company matching</li><li>Health, dental, and vision insurance</li><li>Health Savings Account (HSA)</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Employee discounts</li><li>Boot Reimbursement</li></ul><p><strong>Equal Opportunity Employer</strong></p><p>As an EEO/Affirmative Action Employer, we provide equal employment opportunities to all applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, national origin, disability, or veteran status.</p>\n",
