Kenny Ross Ford South in Castle Shannon, PA is searching for driven and dedicated experienced Automotive Service Technicians with 1 to 5 years' experience! Do you have your PA State and Emission License and are currently working for Pep Boys, Midas, Firestone, NTB or another private garage, and are looking to advance your career and earnings? Then we want to talk to you! Tired of the same old routing? We will pay for your training, help you advance your technical skills, and become a huge wage earner. We guarantee we will increase your hourly rate and income. Job Duties: Evaluate customer’s needs, working quickly and efficiently Master products, services and company knowledge Maintain a clean and safe workplace Test parts and systems to ensure that they are working properly Identify mechanical problems Perform basic care and maintenance including oil changes, tune-ups, and tire rotations Repair or replace worn parts, such as brake pads and wheel bearings 40+ hour work week with Saturday and evening rotations Qualifications : PA State and Emissions License Good knowledge of Automobiles Effective analytical and communication skills Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures, and specifications Should be able to Operate electronic diagnostic equipment Detail oriented, capable of a high-quality repair Minimum of 1-year experience in a service department Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time Basic Computer skills Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality A valid PA driver’s license Ford or Lincoln certified preferred but not required Benefits: PAID FORD TRAINING 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Vision insurance Paid time off Employee discount Vacation: After 120 days - accrues at a rate of 40 hours After 3 years - accrues at a rate of 80 hours After 6 years - accrues at a rate of 120 hours Sick: After 90 days of hire - 40 hours are awarded January 1 every year thereafter - 40 hours are awarded Pay: $22 - $38/hr flat rate based on level and experience Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Mon-Fri with rotating Saturday schedule (shop is open Mon-Thurs 7am to 8pm, Friday 7am to 5:30, and Saturdays 8am to 5pm).
