As the VP, Federal Market Leader at FlatironDragados, you will lead the charge in expanding our Federal Contracting business—primarily with the Department of Defense (DoD), including NAVFAC and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Initially responsible for developing a pipeline of Federal projects in a Business Development capacity, you will also drive pursuits, lead operations, and build a best-in-class team from the ground up. This is a rare opportunity to own and grow a business line within a global construction group that already has a strong track record in the US Federal Market along with global reach.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Apply now and take full ownership of a career-defining role.</p>\n<h2>What you will be doing</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Leads federal market strategy for FlatironDragados, focused on building relationships, developing a pipeline and pursuing work with DoD agencies such as NAVFAC and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.</li>\n <li>Builds and nurtures high-value relationships with key contacts in the federal contracting and military engineering communities.</li>\n <li>Leads pursuit strategy, pricing, and execution, including for complex MACC/MATOC contracts.</li>\n <li>Collaborates across FlatironDragados and the wider ACS Group, including Asia Pacific teams, to pursue joint opportunities on federal contracts, ensuring beneficial resourcing and team structures for federal pursuits are identified.</li>\n <li>Supports proposal development, risk analysis, and contract negotiations for strategic pursuits.</li>\n <li>Partners with operational teams post-award to ensure excellence in execution and compliance with federal standards.</li>\n <li>Recruits, mentors, and leads a growing team of professionals aligned to federal project delivery.</li>\n <li>Serves as the internal subject matter expert and external face of FlatironDragados’ federal construction efforts.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What we are looking for</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>20+ years of experience across civil engineering, heavy civil construction, and/or U.S. Army, Navy, or Department of Defense construction and engineering projects.</li>\n <li>Proven success pursuing and executing large-scale federal contracts, particularly DoD contracts with NAVFAC and Army Corps.</li>\n <li>Strong, well-established network within the federal construction community.</li>\n <li>Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred; advanced degree or military background is a strong asset.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated success building new business lines or divisions from the ground up.</li>\n <li>Exceptional communication, collaboration, and leadership skills to drive alignment and influence stakeholders at all levels.</li>\n <li>Politically savvy with the proven ability to represent the company at industry functions and during client interactions, articulating strategic messages and demonstrating expert knowledge of the Federal contracting industry.</li>\n <li>Fluent in federal acquisition regulations with a deep knowledge of federal contracting and procurement processes, pricing strategy, and compliance requirements.</li>\n <li>Track record of strong financial performance and P&L ownership.</li>\n <li>Able to manage multiple priorities and teams across diverse locations.</li>\n <li>Willingness and ability to travel extensively as needed to support business development and project oversight.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Why work for us</h2>\n<p>Some of the benefits you may be eligible for as an employee are:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Comprehensive compensation package</li>\n <li>Industry-leading 401(k)/RRSP</li>\n <li>Medical/Extended Health Care, Dental, Vision and/or Provincial Medical</li>\n <li>Employee Assistance Program</li>\n <li>Dependent Scholarships</li>\n <li>Tuition Reimbursement</li>\n <li>Student Loan Forgiveness Program</li>\n <li>Employee Resource Groups</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are an EEO/ADA/Veterans employer.</p>\n<h2>Salary Min</h2>USD $300,000.00/Yr.\n<h2>Salary Max</h2>USD $350,000.00/Yr.",
