We design, build, maintain, and upgrade high-voltage transmission infrastructure that supports the backbone of the electric grid. Whether working on new construction, line upgrades, or critical maintenance, our teams ensure projects are executed with the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance. Our work involves both traditional methods and the latest industry innovations to deliver sustainable, cost-effective, and reliable solutions for our customers.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Transmission Line Project Engineer will oversee the design of high voltage infrastructure projects. This role will involve providing an oversight role for the design team performing the detailed design.  It will also include performing engineering to support EPC proposals.  The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil, mechanical, or electrical engineering, with extensive experience in high voltage substation or transmission line projects. </p>\n<h2>What You'll Do</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Oversee projects from inception to completion, including: planning, design, permitting, construction support, and closeout. </li>\n <li>Review engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications for electrical substations or transmission lines. </li>\n <li>Ensure projects are on budget and schedule while ensuring cost-effective solutions. </li>\n <li>Review projects to verify compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and standards, including environmental and safety requirements. </li>\n <li>Coordinate with stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, and the public, to ensure successful project delivery. </li>\n <li>Oversee quality control procedures to ensure the highest standards of workmanship and materials. </li>\n <li>Prepare and maintain detailed project status reports, engineering documentation, and records. </li>\n <li>Take personal responsibility for the quality and accuracy of his/her work.</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You'll Bring</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) or Graduate degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited university.</li>\n <li>Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the electric utility industry performing detailed engineering for high voltage substation or transmission line projects.</li>\n <li>PE. license required.</li>\n <li>Strong technical expertise in structural, civil, electrical, or mechanical engineering, with a comprehensive understanding of engineering principles and practices.</li>\n <li>Expert knowledge of electric utility engineering and construction standards.</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of industry specific software packages.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with processes and procedures for project controls and estimates.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated experience supporting external customers.</li>\n <li>Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, clients, and external partners.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations, including ANSI, ASTM, ACI, AISC, IEEE, NEC, NESC, and others.</li>\n <li>Able to deal with ambiguity and ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and determine priorities in a complex environment.</li>\n <li>Ability to travel as necessary, up to 10-20% of the time</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You'll Get</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Competitive Compensation</li>\n <li>401(k) Retirement Plan</li>\n <li>Holiday Pay</li>\n <li>Paid Time Off (PTO)</li>\n <li>Comprehensive Health Coverage</li>\n <li>Pet Insurance</li>\n <li>Employee Assistance Program (EAP)</li>\n <li>Professional Development</li>\n <li>Tuition Assistance</li>\n <li>Employee Discount Program</li>\n</ul>\n<p>#LI-JT1</p>\n<h2>Compensation Range</h2>The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $125,000.00/Yr. - USD $165,000.00/Yr. depending on experience and qualifications.\n<h2>Equal Opportunity Employer</h2>\n<p>All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment and will not be discriminated against on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin or ancestry, sex (including gender, pregnancy, sexual orientation, and/or gender identity), age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, and/or any other basis protected by applicable federal, state or local law.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability and protected veteran status.
