Our commitment to quality, compliance, and continuous improvement allows us to support customers operating in highly regulated industries where precision, reliability, and performance are critical.</p><h2>Position Summary</h2><p>Midwest Precision is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead our Quality Management System and quality operations within a highly regulated AS9100D and ITAR-controlled manufacturing environment.</p><p>This position is responsible for maintaining compliance with AS9100D, ISO 9001:2015, customer requirements, and regulatory standards while partnering with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Leadership to drive quality performance and continuous improvement initiatives.</p><p>The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong manufacturing quality experience, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a passion for building systems that support operational excellence and customer satisfaction.</p><h2>Essential Responsibilities</h2><ul><li><p>Lead and maintain the AS9100D and ISO 9001 Quality Management System.</p></li><li><p>Serve as the management representative for the Quality Management System.</p></li><li><p>Lead AS9100D surveillance audits, recertification audits, customer audits, and internal audits.</p></li><li><p>Ensure compliance with ITAR regulations, customer requirements, and applicable industry standards.</p></li><li><p>Develop, monitor, and report quality metrics and key performance indicators.</p></li><li><p>Lead root cause investigations and corrective action activities.</p></li><li><p>Manage nonconformance processes, customer complaints, and supplier quality issues.</p></li><li><p>Oversee inspection processes, calibration systems, and quality documentation.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain to improve quality, productivity, and process performance.</p></li><li><p>Support new product introductions and process validation activities.</p></li><li><p>Develop and maintain quality policies, procedures, work instructions, and records.</p></li><li><p>Lead and develop Quality personnel through coaching, training, and performance management.</p></li><li><p>Drive continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean principles and data-driven decision making.</p></li><li><p>Ensure organizational readiness for customer assessments and third-party audits.</p></li></ul><h2>Qualifications</h2><h3>Required</h3><ul><li><p>Bachelor&#39;s degree or equivalent combination of education and manufacturing quality experience.</p></li><li><p>Minimum 5 years of Quality Management experience in a manufacturing environment.</p></li><li><p>Experience managing an AS9100D and/or ISO 9001 Quality Management System.</p></li><li><p>Experience leading external certification audits, customer audits, and internal audit programs.</p></li><li><p>Strong understanding of corrective action systems, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.</p></li><li><p>Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&amp;T.</p></li><li><p>Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.</p></li><li><p>Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality reporting systems.</p></li></ul><h3>Preferred</h3><ul><li><p>Aerospace and defense manufacturing experience.</p></li><li><p>Precision CNC machining and assembly experience.</p></li><li><p>Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE), Lean, or Six Sigma certification.</p></li><li><p>Experience working with customer-specific quality requirements.</p></li><li><p>Experience supporting highly regulated manufacturing environments.</p></li></ul><h2>What Success Looks Like</h2><ul><li><p>Successful maintenance of AS9100D and ISO certifications.</p></li><li><p>Strong customer satisfaction and quality performance metrics.</p></li><li><p>Effective corrective actions that prevent recurrence.</p></li><li><p>Positive audit outcomes and regulatory compliance.</p></li><li><p>Strong partnerships with Operations, Engineering, and Leadership.</p></li><li><p>Continuous improvement in quality systems, processes, and performance.</p></li></ul><h2>Compensation &amp;
