    "jobDescription": "<h2></h2><h2>Job Description:</h2><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p><span>Note: Fidelity will not provide immigration sponsorship for this position.</span></p><p></p><p>The primary objective of this role is to safeguard the firm’s capital and reputation using risk tools and technology, while delivering outstanding customer service in meeting our clients trading, borrowing and custody needs. You will be responsible for routine market risk analysis while detecting deviations and resolving or intensifying the issues across all lines of business.</p><p><b> </b></p><p><b>The Team</b></p><p>The candidate will join a nuanced, closely-knit Market Risk Team working in Jersey City. The Risk Management Team evaluates and interprets moderately sophisticated financial and statistical information, and assists in the development, enhancement and testing of the risk management system. The individual will represent the firm in looking after internal and external business partners by articulating risk policies and procedures as it relates to risk management.</p><p><b> </b></p><p><b>The Expertise You Have</b></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor&#39;s degree in Finance or related field</p></li><li><p>5&#43; years business experience within a large-scale financial services environment</p></li><li><p>Series 7 preferred</p></li><li><p>Shown knowledge of the brokerage business, operations &amp; accounting</p></li><li><p>Deep understanding of margin and option strategies</p></li><li><p>Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills</p></li><li><p>Demonstrate strong investigative, technical, and analytical skills</p></li></ul><p><b> </b></p><p><b>The Skills You Bring</b></p><ul><li><p>You are a proactive, driven leader with the ability to operate effectively from the conceptual stage through to a successful implementation</p></li><li><p>You have a strong sense of accountability and ownership in your work</p></li><li><p>You have strong analytical, influencing, and interpersonal relationship skills</p></li><li><p>You demonstrate the ability to make timely, informed decisions that advance critical priorities, capitalize on new opportunities, and resolve problems</p></li><li><p>You have excellent relationship and partnership skills to build networks across organizations</p></li><li><p>You can effectively communicate sophisticated concepts to influence key decision-makers through a combination of knowledge, reasoning, and relationships</p></li><li><p>You demonstrate expert analysis and decision-making skills to be deployed in your day-to-day responsibilities</p></li><li><p>You have excellent presentation skills and the ability to communicate effectively up, down, and across the organization</p></li><li><p>You can present complex information in a way that is easy for others to understand and articulate a point of view in a compelling and succinct manner</p></li></ul><p><b> </b></p><p><b>The Value You Deliver</b></p><ul><li><p>Analyzing and escalating of margin and cash accounts triggered by real-time trading, securities/money movement activities and market volatility to mitigate exposure</p></li><li><p>Ensuring customer accounts maintain sufficient capital to withstand a wide range of probable and possible market conditions/events</p></li><li><p>Interacting directly with all lines of business on account escalations</p></li><li><p>Monitoring of Correspondent Proprietary trading and allocation accounts</p></li><li><p>Being responsible for Correspondent Capital Markets trading activity &#39;trade-away&#39;</p></li><li><p>Evaluating real-time exception requests across the Market Access program</p></li><li><p>Ability to engage various risk groups and interested parties, and facilitate discussions and meetings of Market Risk policy</p></li><li><p>Seeing opportunities to improve existing risk reporting and developing new key risk indicators</p></li></ul><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p>The base salary range for this position is $80,000-$153,000 per year.  <p style=\"text-align:left\">Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.</p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:left\">Base salary is only part of the total compensation package.
