Master's or Doctoral degree in the Mental Health Counseling</p>\n<p>2. Possess and maintain Licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor in Louisiana which must be unrestricted, current complete, and active.</p>\n<p>3. Maintain CME/CEU requirements necessary for license renewal in</p>\n<p>4. Minimum of two-year experience</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt; font-weight: bold\">JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:</span></p>\n<p>1. Highly knowledgeable with DSM diagnosis and ICD coding.<br>2. Possess strong understanding of societies and their impact on mental health.<br>3. Ability to solve problems, monitor and examine patients.<br>4. Knowledgeable of community resources.<br>5. Highly knowledgeable with applying therapeutic orientations on a case by case<br>basis.<br>6. Ability to maintain a good working relationship with colleagues.<br>7. Ability to build and maintain rapport with clients and their supports.<br>8. Highly knowledgeable in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of mental,<br>emotional, behavioral, and/or addictive disorders and in psychoeducational<br>techniques aimed at the prevention of such disorders.<br>9. Consultation to individuals, couples, families, groups, and organizations.<br>10. Research into more effective therapeutic treatment modalities.<br>11. Cognitive-behavioral, interpersonal, and psychodynamic therapies.<br>12.Knowledge of principles and practices of health care planning and management<br>sufficient to manage, direct and coordinate the operation of a health care<br>     organization.<br>13.Knowledge of the purposes, organization and policies of the community’s health<br>     systems sufficient to interact with other health care providers.<br>14.Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with peers,<br>     employees, policy-making bodies, third-party payers, patients, caregivers, and<br>     the public.<br>15.Skill in organizing work, making assignments, and achieving goals and objectives.<br>16.Knowledge of the policies and procedures of the clinic sufficient to direct its<br>     operations and to provide effective patient care.<br>17.Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a high-stress and fast-moving<br>     environment.<br>18.Ability to be culturally sensitive and effective when working with ethnically diverse<br>     populations.<br>19.Ability to assume responsibility and exercise authority over assigned work<br>     functions.<br>20.Ability to establish and maintain quality control standards.<br>21.Ability to organize and integrate organizational priorities and deadlines.<br>22.Ability to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel.<br>23.Ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them<br>     into existing practices.<br>24.Participate in problem-solving and implementation of plans for departmental<br>     improvement.<br>25. Demonstrate a desire to learn more and actively pursue that desire for<br>      professional development.</p>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-size: 24pt; font-weight: bold\">MISSION AND CUSTOMER SERVICE:</span><br>1. Continuous performance<br>     improvement activity.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">All school-based employees will work on the following schedule:</span><br>   </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">School year:</span> August 1 to May 31st - SBHC employees are considered 10-month employees.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Hours:</span> Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4pm.</p>\n<p><br></p>",
