Apply now and energize your career with a true leader in the global energy transformation.</p><p></p><p><b>TITLE: </b>Standard Process Engineer</p><p></p><p><b>EMPLOYER:</b> AES US Services, LLC</p><p></p><p><b>DUTIES:</b></p><p></p><ul><li>Develop, document, and implement standardized processes across multiple AES businesses in the Transmission and Distribution (T&amp;D) sector.</li><li>Evaluate and optimize current processes, collaborating with stakeholders to identify gaps and align with corporate strategy.</li><li>Design and create templates for standardized documentation, including process maps, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).</li><li>Utilize advanced digital tools and technologies to develop and deliver process standards, collaborating with Digital and Internal Communications teams.</li><li>Develop, maintain, and manage the AES Standards repository, ensuring version control and accessibility.</li><li>Create and execute comprehensive communication strategies to educate and engage AES personnel on new and updated processes.</li><li>Perform ongoing monitoring, evaluation, and optimization of T&amp;D processes, providing data-driven recommendations for improvement.</li><li>Ensure process sustainability through stakeholder communication and adherence monitoring, utilizing key performance indicators (KPIs).</li></ul><p></p><p>Telework: Up to 20% Telework Benefit</p><p></p><p>Travel: 10% Travel Required</p><p></p><p></p><p><b>REQUIREMENTS:  </b>Job requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field and three (3) years’ experience in any job title/occupation involving operational auditing, power substation, norms &amp; guidelines engineering or a related field.</p><p></p><p>Job requires three (3) years of experience in each of the following:</p><ul><li>Regulated T&amp;D utility business, assets, and systems;</li><li>Proficiency in process mapping and modeling software such as Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, or similar tools;</li><li>Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar software to create process performance dashboards and reports.</li><li>Experience in developing and implementing process improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Total Quality Management (TQM).</li><li>Experience in developing and maintaining technical documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process flow diagrams.</li></ul><p></p><p>Job requires two (2) years of experience in each of the following:</p><ul><li>Knowledge of Smart Grid technologies, Distributed Energy Resources (DER) integration, and emerging trends in the utility industry such as grid modernization, advanced metering infrastructure (AMI), and renewable energy integration.</li><li>Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations, such as NERC, FERC, and state-specific utility regulations.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>LOCATION: </b>One Monument Circle, Indianapolis, IN, 46204</p><p></p><p><b>TO APPLY</b>:   <span>E-mail resume to </span><a href=\"mailto:applicationsUS&#64;aes.com\" target=\"_blank\"><span>applicationsUS&#64;aes.com</span></a><span>.
