Ft. Gordon has a moderate year-round climate and offers proximity to metropolitan areas, beaches along the Atlantic Ocean and the Appalachian Mountains.   The Augusta area is a growing community with an excellent quality of life. A wide variety of cultural and outdoor recreational activities are readily available locally, and many more are easily accessible from the coast to the mountains. Augusta has a vibrant professional medical environment, including the Medical College of Georgia and other referral medical centers. The cost of living is quite reasonable, with quality homes at good prices.  </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilites:</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Direct Patient Care</strong>- Provide targeted, evidence-based assessments and interventions in brief 30-minute appointments for a wide range of behavioral, chronic medical, and health conditions.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Team Collaboration</strong>-Act as a core member of the Primary Care team. Participate in daily huddles, facilitate \"warm handoffs\" from providers, and offer expert consultation on patient care.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Program Development</strong>- Develop, teach, and oversee health education classes for patients. Provide training to primary care staff to enhance the integration of behavioral health services.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Clinical Excellence-</strong>Utilize a stepped-care approach to maximize patient access. Monitor treatment effectiveness with measurable outcomes and ensure timely, concise documentation.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>US Citizenship required</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Must have practiced as a licensed independent practioner within the past two years</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Doctoral Degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) directly related to full professional work in clinical psychology.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>A current, active, valid, and unrestricted clinical license to practice Psychology independently from a U.S. State, the District of Columbia, Commonwealth, territory, or jurisdiction is required.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Candidates will have completed an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited doctoral graduate program and an APA accredited predoctoral internship.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>",
