    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>R&P is looking for a Shipbuiding Acquisition / Contracts Analyst who wants to join our team supporting PMS 410. We are a mid-sized defense contractor providing Business Financial Management, Engineering, Logistics, Program Management and Technical Services to government clients. We need a motivated and detailed oriented analyst ready to join a fast-paced and exciting program to assist the Navy in constructing the newest class of Frigate. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide general acquisition and program management support.</li>\n <li>Provide analysis, tracking, and reconciliation support for shipbuilding contracts.</li>\n <li>Provide administrative support in development of Program Plans</li>\n <li>Monitor and Maintain Program Schedules</li>\n <li>Assists program office with providing detail oriented management of records, business research analysis, and valuation strategies.</li>\n <li>Provides support on procurement policies, regulations, and procedures that result in cost savings for the Government.</li>\n <li>Provide contract pricing analysis (i.e. REAs and ECPs) acting as a liaison / intermediary between the technical community and cost esimating team.</li>\n <li>Assist in the preparation of program/portfolio review documentation and other reoccurring meetings/briefs</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's Degree</li>\n <li>10+ years relevant experience in shipbuilding program/project management</li>\n <li>Experience in DoD/DoN procedures and Policies (DoD 5000 process) and U.S. Navy programs or operations.</li>\n <li>Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, Teams and SharePoint environments.</li>\n <li>Experience developing SES and Flag level briefs</li>\n <li>Experience with DoD contracts (desired)</li>\n <li>Active Secret clearance</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>EEO Statement</h2>\n<p>R&P Technologies provides equal opportunity for all persons and prohibits discrimination in employment because of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability (including pregnancy, childbirth or related medical conditions), veteran or marital status, or any other factor prohibited by law.
