To learn more about GSCY, visit our website: <a href=\"http://gscymca.org\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">http://gscymca.org</a>&nbsp;</div><p><br></p><p><link href=\"https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/npm/[email protected]/css/froala_style.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\"></p><div class=\"fr-view\"><p>Greater Somerset County is seeking experienced and certified US Masters Swim Coaches to support the existing and growing Masters swim program.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Coaching Duties:</strong></p><ul><li>Write workouts</li><li>Coach workouts</li><li>Work collaboratively with Head Masters Coach and assistant coaches</li><li>Help each swimmer set and achieve personal goals</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>USMS certified coach with a minimum Level 2 USMS Masters coach certification (or within 6 months of hire)</li><li>Current membership in USMS</li><li>Safety Training for coaches or lifeguard certification including CPR, FA for the Professional Rescuer</li><li>Ability to motivate athletes in a positive manner</li><li>Demonstrated proficiency in teaching stroke developments, stroke correction and proper technique</li><li>Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Ability to make clear recommendations and decisions</li><li>Must be able to work early mornings and/or weekends (5a-9am and/or weekend mornings 7am)</li></ul><p><strong>Benefits of working part-time at GSCY include:</strong></p><ul><li>FREE Individual Membership Access to any YMCA in the Nation.</li><li>10% Discount on most programming at Greater Somerset County YMCA.</li><li>Access to one of the leading retirement programs &quot;Y Retirement Fund&quot; from the first day of employment.</li><li>Opportunities for professional development, mentoring, growth, and promotion throughout the YMCA Movement.</li><li>Supportive and inclusive community for people of all backgrounds and access to Employee Resource Networks.</li></ul><p>Greater Somerset County YMCA is a drug free work environment.
