Drivers load their trucks according to stops, as best as possible. Drivers are expected to assist in unloading deliveries at each stop.&nbsp;</li><li>Driver is responsible to pick up returned product and mark accordingly. Driver will unload return product from customers, mark accordingly and place returns in designated areas.&nbsp;</li><li>&nbsp;Driver must be sure both outgoing and return loads are secure and loaded for proper weight distribution and according to DOT HAZMAT guidelines.&nbsp;</li><li>Responsible for reporting violations, fines and accidents to the Cromwell office immediately.&nbsp;</li><li>Servicing/repairs/replacement of parts should be authorized by the Cromwell office only. Situations involving a breakdown are to be reported to the Cromwell office immediately to authorize servicing.&nbsp;</li><li>Responsible for keeping the truck and cargo area clean and neat.&nbsp;</li><li>Use ELD system to accurately perform daily logs including start/stop time, milage, and fuel records. Performs Pre-Trip and Post-Trip vehicle inspections documenting deficiencies and ensures all safety items are in good working condition. Authorized credit cards only will be used for the purchase of fuel. Expense reports with receipts are to be completed and turned in to the Cromwell office on a weekly basis.&nbsp;</li><li>Driver is responsible for:<ol start=\"1\" type=\"a\"><li>Understanding and following DOT rules and guidelines, policies, procedures, and instructions for HAZMAT.</li><li>Understanding and following Crown Battery rules and guidelines.&nbsp;</li></ol></li><li>Ability to properly operate a pallet jack, forklift, and other warehouse equipment.&nbsp;</li><li>Driver may be required to assist in the warehouse as needed.&nbsp;</li><li>Be familiar and compliant with the systems, procedures and documentation of the Crown Quality System and how it relates to Engineering and Crown quality objectives.&nbsp;</li></ol><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>OTHER DUTIES:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Must be able to pass DOT physical and background check. Able to list up to 130 lbs. May operate trucks for a long period of time depending on schedule. May work under pressure because of delays, traffic conditions and weather conditions.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:&nbsp;</strong>This is a full-time position, at a minimum of 10-hour shifts, four days week, overtime is scheduled as needed. Must be able to work all mandatory overtime as required. This position works independently from all other departments.
