Come see how community health care can fit your lifestyle and career goals!</p>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>We are currently looking for someone to join our corporate team as a Home Support Worker - Program Instructor  The role is hybrid model working out of our and  Waterloo, ON office. There may be infrequent travel to offices within the province.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The HSW Program Instructor will deliver the HSW course materials in a classroom setting, within a customer focused environment. The salary range is <strong>$33.00 to $38.00</strong>, and placement within the range will be determined in accordance with company policies and procedures, as well as the candidate’s knowledge, skills, qualifications, and relevant experience.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What The Role Involves</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Teaches HSW courses in accordance with approved course content and protocols.</li>\n <li>Coaches, guides and supports HSW participants throughout the delivery of course materials.</li>\n <li>Partners with the HSW Program Manager to assess and evaluate the quality of HSW course deliveryand the performance of graduates.</li>\n <li>Promotes a continuous quality improvement approach to customer service and education.</li>\n <li>Performs other duties as required.</li>\n <li>Modeling, upholding, and contributing to CarePartners core values of patient-focus, integrity, accountability, partnership, teamwork, transparency, respect and innovation.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You Bring</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Current College of Nurses (CNO) Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) with NO practice restrictions.</li>\n <li>Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience, preferably leading Personal Support Workers.</li>\n <li>Experience in providing adult education; minimum one year experience in a formal education role preferred</li>\n <li>Certificate in adult education or instruction considered an asset.</li>\n <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to function as an effective facilitator, mentor and preceptor.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to promote a creative learning environment.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to prioritize, collaborate, and consult with others in an effective and respectful way.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to work independently and in collaboration with others.</li>\n <li>Proven computer skills, including email, Microsoft office and work scheduling systems</li>\n <li>Current CPR Certification</li>\n <li>Regular travel throughout Ontario is required</li>\n <li>Able to work non-traditional hours</li>\n <li>Clear Background Check</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>CarePartners In Your Community</h2>\n<p>In addition to providing home-based health care, CarePartners also serves the community through clinics, transitional care units, and provides relief in retirement homes and shared care settings.
