    "description": "<p>At Helms College, our faculty play a vital role in supporting student success by delivering practical instruction, mentoring learners, and creating inclusive learning environments that connect education to employment and long-term opportunity.</p>\n\n<p><b>Responsibilities:</b></p>\n\n<ul type=\"square\">\n\t<li>Deliver Interactive Distance Learning (IDL) courses.</li>\n\t<li>Develop Canvas Course Shell and Materials to support 5.5 week/44 hour online course</li>\n\t<li>Facilitate discussions and provide feedback to enhance learning.</li>\n\t<li>Use Canvas LMS to track student performance and participation.</li>\n\t<li>Offer academic advice and address student concerns.</li>\n\t<li>Attend online meetings and contribute to curriculum development.</li>\n\t<li>Prepare and execute lessons, lectures, activities, and exercises for online settings in the Canvas LMS.</li>\n\t<li>Develop and prepare tests to evaluate student performance. Grade and record individual scores.</li>\n\t<li>Grade and return assignments and post grades in a prompt manner.</li>\n\t<li>Provide prompt and appropriate professional correspondence to students and colleagues.</li>\n\t<li>Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance.
