This national team has earned an exceptional reputation through its successful delivery of multidisciplinary infrastructure projects in Canada.</p>\n<p><strong>Your Key Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Act as project manager, structural lead, and designer for engineering assignments</li>\n <li>Responsible for transportation structural inspection assignments and be supervising engineer on biennial (OSIM) inspection assignments</li>\n <li>Attend site visits related to pre-design information gathering, construction and post-construction review</li>\n <li>Lead and conduct the inspection of existing bridges, culverts, and other transportation structures in accordance with the Ontario Structure Inspection Manual (OSIM), Ontario Health and Safety Act (OHSA), and other applicable standards</li>\n <li>Coordinate work with clients and other disciplines including highway/road, electrical, drainage and environmental planning</li>\n <li>Analyze, evaluate appropriate design solutions and design of transportation structures including bridges, culverts, retaining walls and foundations</li>\n <li>Provide direction to project team members and support staff through verbal and written instructions</li>\n <li>Direct CAD team for drawing preparation and review deliverables prior to submission to client</li>\n <li>Prepare and review technical reports, tender documents, and cost estimates</li>\n <li>Provide recommendations and costing on bridge, culvert and retaining walls, required maintenance, repair and rehabilitation</li>\n <li>Provide tender evaluations and/or construction engineering services</li>\n <li>Conduct business development activities to secure new projects by client liaison and proposal preparation</li>\n <li>Attend and participate in team progress meetings</li>\n <li>Available to work flexible hours, days, nights, and weekends.
