This role is ideal for a skilled professional who is passionate about teaching and mentoring the next generation of phlebotomists.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position Overview</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The Adjunct Faculty member will provide <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">didactic and hands-on laboratory instruction</span> in Principles of Phlebotomy. Courses are delivered at the Greenbrier Valley and Nicholas County Campus and may include <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">in-person, online, Zoom, or Interactive </span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><br></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Adjunct faculty play a vital role as <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">educators, mentors, and collaborators</span>, contributing to student success and workforce readiness.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Deliver engaging classroom and laboratory instruction in phlebotomy</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Teach venipuncture and capillary puncture techniques effectively</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Evaluate student performance and maintain accurate academic records</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Provide timely, constructive feedback to support student growth</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Coordinate clinical rotations with program leadership and healthcare partners</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ensure compliance with college policies and safety standards</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Utilize technology to support in-person and virtual learning environments</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Maintain regular communication with students and faculty</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Participate in department meetings and required college activities</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Complete course assessments and reporting requirements on time</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What We’re Looking For</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Required Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Current national certification in one of the following:</span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Phlebotomy or Medical Laboratory Science/Technology</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Medical Assistant, LPN, or RN</span></li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Associate’s degree (or higher) in an allied health or related field</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Minimum of <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">2 years of hands-on experience</span> performing venipuncture and capillary puncture</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Preferred Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Teaching experience in higher education</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Experience with Zoom, IVN, or online instruction</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Familiarity with instructional technology (e.g., Microsoft Word, learning platforms)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Experience with dual enrollment programs</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Skills &amp;
