Operating in over 60 countries, IsraAID responds to emergencies and supports communities affected by crises in rebuilding their lives and strengthening their capacity to prepare for, respond to, and recover from future emergencies.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\"><span>About the Position</span></span></p>\n<p><span>The MEAL Coordinator provides technical leadership for Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) within the Integrated Community Nutrition Management Programme. Reporting to the Global Organizational Learning Lead Manager, the role ensures effective MEAL systems, alignment with organizational standards, and supports learning across all programme countries.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\"><span>Duties and Responsibilities</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Lead the design, implementation, and review of the programme MEAL framework across all countries.</span></li>\n<li><span>Conduct regular field visits (minimum two visits per country annually).</span></li>\n<li><span>Support digital monitoring systems and data collection tools.</span></li>\n<li><span>Provide technical guidance and capacity building to Country Office MEAL staff and programme teams.</span></li>\n<li><span>Facilitate programme learning processes and knowledge sharing.</span></li>\n<li><span>Coordinate with partner organizations’ MEAL teams.</span></li>\n<li><span>Lead external evaluations and ensure findings inform programme improvements.</span></li>\n<li><span>Support the programme research agenda with academic and institutional partners.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\"><span>Requirements</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.</span></li>\n<li><span>Excellent analytical, report-writing, and communication skills.</span></li>\n<li><span>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in multicultural environments.</span></li>\n<li><span>Understanding of integrated multisector programming is an advantage.</span></li>\n<li><span>Commitment to IsraAID’s values: Professionalism, Humanity, Collaboration, Flexibility &amp; Adaptability, and Resilience.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\"><span>Education</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Master’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience) in social sciences, statistics, public health, international development, or a related field. Exceptional Bachelor’s degree holders will be considered.</span></li>\n<li><span>Formal MEAL/M&amp;E training or specialization required.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\"><span>Experience</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Minimum 7 years of progressive MEAL experience in humanitarian or development settings.</span></li>\n<li><span>Experience in Health, Nutrition, or WASH programmes required; supply chain experience is an advantage.</span></li>\n<li><span>Proven experience leading the full MEAL cycle, including MEAL plans, data collection systems, reporting tools, learning frameworks, and data quality oversight.</span></li>\n<li><span>Experience working in African countries preferred.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\"><span>IT Skills</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Power BI, mobile data collection platforms (e.g., Logalto, KoBoToolbox, ODK), and quantitative/qualitative analysis software (e.g., SPSS, Stata, R, NVivo).</span></li>\n<li><span>Familiarity with DHIS2 or similar HMIS platforms is an advantage.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\"><span>Languages</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English.</span></li>\n<li><span>Swahili and/or Luganda are an advantage.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span><span>ETHICAL STANDARDS</span></span></span><span> </span></p>\n<p><span><span>IsraAID has zero tolerance towards any acts of misconduct and Sexual Exploitation and Abuse.
