Description

The Operations Lead works under the guidance of the Operations Supervisor and is responsible for overseeing Warehouse Operations, including Shipping & Receiving, Inventory Management, and Packaging activities. This position ensures that product quality aligns with customer requirements while effectively supervising and maximizing the productivity of warehouse associates. Summary of Essential Job Functions Oversee and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including scheduling and assigning tasks to team members, monitoring workflow, and ensuring operational efficiency. Identify controls within daily operations to ensure that safety, quality, environmental, and production targets are consistently met. Ensure compliance with all company safety rules and regulations, cultivating an injury-free work environment through motivational leadership and safety program implementation. Train and retrain warehouse associates on all functions and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs). Manage resources such as personnel, equipment, and materials to support operational effectiveness. Provide leadership by setting clear goals, offering guidance, and motivating team members to continuously improve and perform at high standards. Communicate effectively with team members to resolve issues and ensure a seamless workflow. Ensure that the incoming shift is adequately set up for success. Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy, including supplies and finished goods. Identify and resolve problems or issues that arise during daily operations. Perform other duties as assigned by management to support operational goals.
