The Supervisor of Pharmacy Technicians supervises pharmacy technician staff and workload in assigned, specialized shop/section of the department to ensure a safe and efficient operation.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This is a full time, 40hr per week, benefitted non-exempt position. Monday-Friday 1pm-9:30pm </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>#CPT, #Pharmacy Technician, #Dartmouth-Hitchcock Pharmacy</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Dartmouth is the best where it matters most!</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>DH Offers You: Employees hired to work at least 0.50 FTE (20 hours per week) and their eligible dependents may </p>\n<p>participate in Dartmouth Health benefit plans on the employee’s first day of employment.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Medical Insurance: Two medical plans available through Anthem BC/BS:</p>\n<p>High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) that is matched with a Health Savings Account and a PPO Plan that features higher premiums balanced by copays and lower deductibles.</p>\n<p>Retirement: Employee contributions are vested immediately. Employees also receive a base employer contribution of 4% of biweekly pay plus a</p>\n<p>biweekly matching contribution of 50% on up to 4% of pay saved—for a maximum match of 2% of pay.</p>\n<p>Tuition Reimbursement: Up to $3,000 per year.</p>\n<p>Paid Time Off: Time Off is accrued per pay period based on hours worked. This includes six paid holidays.</p>\n<p>Dental </p>\n<p>Vision</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<li>Coordinates and supervises the daily operations of pharmacy technician staff.</li>\n<li>In partnership with pharmacy manager, is accountable for the daily performance of medication preparation and dispensing activities.</li>\n<li>Monitors productivity, quality of work and completion of assignments.</li>\n<li>Ensures pharmacy work areas are appropriately maintained, medication distribution systems operate reliably and efficiently, and all legal and regulatory requirements for medication preparation and dispensing are continuously met.</li>\n<li>Recruits, orients, trains and evaluates pharmacy staff.</li>\n<li>Schedules staff and ensures appropriate staff coverage.</li>\n<li>Assists in the development and administration of departmental policies and procedures.</li>\n<li>Resolves operational and staff issues or conflicts.</li>\n<li>Works collaboratively with technicians to obtain suggestions and feedback on improving work processes.</li>\n<li>Oversees pharmacy staff development and promotes the advancement of pharmacy technician staff.</li>\n<li>Identifies areas where cost control and waste management practices would be effective, making recommendations and participating in process improvement.</li>\n<li>Participates in compliance and quality improvement activities of the department.</li>\n<li>Resolves customer complaints and works with staff to ensure excellent customer service.</li>\n<li>Perform the duties of the technician staff as needed.</li>\n<li>Performs other duties as required or assigned.</li>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum of 3 years of combined supervisory and technician experience in a pharmacy or the equivalent preferred.</li>\n <li>Associates degree, or higher, in a management or health related field preferred.</li>\n <li>Substantial knowledge of technician duties and demonstrated high level of precision, responsibility, efficiency, and judgment required.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to work independently and possess the ability to set priorities and make critical decision.</li>\n <li>Effective problem solving, and change management abilities desired.</li>\n <li>Effective oral and written communication skills, as well as demonstrated interpersonal and team skills essential.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Required Licensure/Certifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT and NH Board of Pharmacy) required.</li>\n <li>BLS within 30 days of hire in the Retail or Specialty Pharmacy if required to administer immunizations</li>\n</ul>",
