Job Opportunity: Hardware Design Engineer with Fameccanica in Boston Hub (Middleton, MA) Design the systems behind the systems. Fameccanica North America is seeking a Hardware Design Engineer to help shape the electrical and control architecture behind complex automated systems in its Boston Hub. This is a high-impact opportunity for someone who enjoys building from the ground up, partnering across disciplines, and contributing to highly engineered solutions that power advanced manufacturing and robotics. What You’ll Do Design and develop hardware architecture for automated equipment and integrated systems. Create and maintain electrical schematics, control panels, wiring diagrams, and system layouts. Collaborate with mechanical design, software, controls, and manufacturing teams to ensure system performance and integration. Support prototyping, system builds, testing, and troubleshooting through the development lifecycle. Help drive technical solutions that are scalable, reliable, and aligned with project requirements and customer needs. What You Bring 5-10 years of experience in hardware, electrical, or controls design within automation, machinery, or industrial systems. Proficiency with tools such as EPlan, AutoCAD Electrical, or similar design platforms. Strong understanding of electrical standards, safety requirements, and system documentation best practices. Ability to work cross-functionally, solve technical challenges, and contribute in a fast-moving engineering environment.
