For more information, visit&nbsp;<a href=\"http://www.metalsa.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">metalsa.com</a></p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:</strong> <strong>Maintenance Group Leader</strong>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Mission:</strong> To lead maintenance personnel and provide shop floor support.</p>\n<p><strong>What would your typical day look like?</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead Maintenance group</li>\n <li>Initiate, plan, design, and implement improvements to current processes to ensure productivity, quality, and safety.</li>\n <li>Design tooling and fixtures</li>\n <li>Shop floor support</li>\n <li>Forecast and control budget requirements for the maintenance department.</li>\n <li>Provide operator training, work instructions, and process control plans for implemented projects and improvements.</li>\n <li>Responsible for critical spare parts, order, track, and store stock parts required to maintain production needs.</li>\n <li>Verify Pm’s are completed, add, and modify Pm’s as needed to maintain production needs.</li>\n <li>Plan and manage daily, weekly, and yearly repairs for production.</li>\n <li>Budget, track, and control monthly overtime for department</li>\n <li>Control and maintain shop floor software and hardware as related to maintenance.</li>\n <li>Assist the Quality department with resolving process related quality defects relating to production.</li>\n <li>Maintain and improve manufacturing processes and error proofing systems.</li>\n <li>Communicate improvements to the Quality and Manufacturing departments.</li>\n <li>Assist the Product Engineering Group in processing, costing, implementing, launching, and maintaining GM engineering changes.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Academic and Experience&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum high school education</li>\n <li>Associate degree in related field, or combination of education and related experience</li>\n <li>2 years Supervisory experience</li>\n <li>2 - 5 years maintenance management experience (installation, repair, maintenance of plant equipment.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Participation in a significant role on the MOS, either deploying a practice, training in a tool or methodology, leading problem solving or other applied leadership experience.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Technical Skills:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Proficient computer skills/Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Power Point)</li>\n <li>Proficient in equipment trouble shooting.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Proficient with CadKey light or AutoCAD</li>\n <li>Thorough understanding of Ladder Logic&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Interpret Blueprints, material specifications, and other customer requirements.</li>\n <li>Proficient with programming logic controllers such as Allen Bradley and GE Fanuc</li>\n <li>PLC, robots and Automation</li>\n <li>Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Drives, Electrical and Quality Management System</li>\n <li>Human Development Management</li>\n <li>Core Manufacturing Processes (Stamping, Assembly, Painting, Welding, Hydroforming)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Leadership Competencies&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<p>•Problem Solving • Developing direct reports and others • Managing and measuring work</p>\n<p>• Customer Focus • Work/Life balance •Perseverance •Building effective teams •Ability to work as a team member with a diverse group of people •Good communication skills, verbal and written •Good organizational and time management skills •Good interpersonal and Leadership skills • Ability to establish and reach work goals • Must have the ability to interact with others and take the lead role in a team environment</p>\n<p><strong>What is in it for YOU?&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<p>As part of the Metalsa team, you will benefit from great compensation and benefits package!</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Vacation, Personal Time, and Paid Holidays</li>\n <li>Excellent Benefits Plan!</li>\n <li>Medical, dental, vision, prescription insurance</li>\n <li>Paid Short-Term Disability &amp; Long-Term Disability Coverage</li>\n <li>Flexible Spending Account (FSA)</li>\n <li>Health Reimbursement Account (HRA)</li>\n <li>401(k) Company Matching</li>\n <li>Tuition Reimbursement Program</li>\n <li>Advancement Opportunities &amp; Training Programs</li>\n</ul>",
