    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Gilbane Development Company is looking for Housekeepers to join our growing team in Bowling Green, KY. The <strong>Housekeeper</strong> is responsible for the cleaning of the business office, residential units, public and common areas of the property in a neat, clean, and attractive condition.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, resident rooms, and other work areas so that health standards are met</li>\n <li>Follows user directions for all compounds and chemicals, including use of proper proportions; labels all compounds and chemicals properly and stores them in locked storage areas.</li>\n <li>Empties trash containers, replaces liners, as appropriate, and disposes of trash in proper receptacles</li>\n <li>Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming</li>\n <li>Washes windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, waxing and polishing as necessary</li>\n <li>Dusts and polishes furniture and equipment</li>\n <li>Maintains clean storage area and stores cleaning supplies in the directed manner</li>\n <li>Carries linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies, using wheeled carts and maintains fire aisles when using cleaning cart</li>\n <li>Replenishes supplies, linens, and bathroom items</li>\n <li>Reports any repair needs to supervisor or maintenance department as appropriate</li>\n <li>Observes for resident safety when in resident care areas</li>\n <li>Complies with state, federal, and all other applicable health care and safety standards</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School diploma or equivalent preferred</li>\n <li>Previous experience in housekeeping, janitorial/custodial or maintenance preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p>#Inwood</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Salary to be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience of the applicant, as well as the internal equity and alignment with the team.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>Gilbane offers an excellent total compensation package which includes competitive health and welfare benefits and a generous profit-sharing/401k plan.
