Our broad service offering includes construction materials testing, geotechnical services, environmental engineering, industrial hygiene, and specialty testing.<br>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What are we looking for?</strong><br>The Project Manager - Construction Material Testing is responsible for performing a variety of testing, project specific observations and site assessment duties under general supervision and/or from detailed controlled procedures.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Salary &amp; Benefits Information:</strong><br>In addition to competitive compensation packages, when working with Intertek you can expect benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k) with company match, generous vacation / sick time, tuition reimbursement and more.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What you’ll do:</strong><br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Conduct and attend project meetings and maintain Client relationships, leverage and develop new project opportunities<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Review project setup, prepare advanced proposals for internal and external review and follow up<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Complete contract review and negotiation<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Monitor project budget and initiate change orders<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Review, Prepare and Submit invoices<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Review and sign test reports<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Perform project close out duties<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Ensure field testing and inspections are scheduled and performed correctly and keep clients informed of progress<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Supervise and provide support to field and/or laboratory personnel<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Train field and laboratory personnel on different types of testing and inspection techniques in accordance &nbsp;with ASTM, ACI and other reference standards and test methods<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Help with equipment issues and/or replacement<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Assist with lab, field and/or administrative duties as needed<br>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Minimum Requirements &amp; Qualifications:</strong><br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;2 years' experience in Construction Materials Testing and/or Project Management experience<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Understand Construction Materials Testing Business<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Valid Driver’s License and reliable driving record<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Able to read and interpret construction plans and project specifications<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Effective communication skills (written, verbal and listening) and solid interpersonal skills<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Must be familiar with the building codes and regulations<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Internal PMCP completion within 6 months of hire<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Ability to lead and supervise others<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Must be able to work off shift and overtime as needed<br>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Preferred Requirements &amp; Qualifications:</strong><br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited/ABET school<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;PE License&nbsp;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;5+ years' experience in Construction Materials Testing project management experience<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;ICC/ACI/NICET Certification(s) highly desirable<br>&nbsp;</p><p class=\"MsoNormal\"><strong>Intertek: Total Quality.
