(Minimum 20 hour regular part-time schedule - does not apply to per diem)</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of youth while working within a supportive team environment committed to safety, growth, and quality care.</strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Ensure the <strong>safety, supervision, and well-being</strong> of youth through active engagement and therapeutic interaction.</p></li>\n <li><p>Monitor the treatment milieu, identify safety risks, and take appropriate corrective action, escalating concerns to supervisory staff as needed.</p></li>\n <li><p>Support the development of a <strong>therapeutic milieu</strong> that promotes:</p>\n  <ul>\n   <li><p>Social growth and healthy peer relationships</p></li>\n   <li><p>Emotional expression and self-regulation</p></li>\n   <li><p>Positive behavior and improved daily functioning</p></li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><p>Establish and maintain <strong>appropriate professional boundaries</strong>, including:</p>\n  <ul>\n   <li><p>Physical, emotional, and logistical boundaries</p></li>\n   <li><p>Confidentiality and HIPAA compliance</p></li>\n   <li><p>Professional interactions with coworkers, caregivers, providers, and visitors</p></li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><p>Participate in the <strong>daily upkeep and cleanliness</strong> of the program, including:</p>\n  <ul>\n   <li><p>Supporting youth with chores, laundry, and meal preparation</p></li>\n   <li><p>Conducting room and safety checks</p></li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><p>Accurately <strong>document client care</strong>, including:</p>\n  <ul>\n   <li><p>Shift notes, logs, and rehabilitation documentation (as required by program)</p></li>\n   <li><p>Medication administration records</p></li>\n   <li><p>Incident reports and safety documentation</p></li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><p>Maintain awareness of individual treatment plans, safety plans, and specialized programming.</p></li>\n <li><p>Utilize <strong>crisis prevention and de-escalation strategies</strong> consistent with agency policy (CPI), using physical interventions only when necessary and authorized.</p></li>\n <li><p>Maintain required certifications and comply with all program and agency policies.</p></li>\n <li><p>Act as a reliable and collaborative team member, arriving prepared, communicating effectively, and approaching care from a <strong>trauma-informed, strengths-based, and culturally responsive perspective</strong>.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p><strong>High School Diploma, GED, or HiSET required</strong></p></li>\n <li><strong>Must be at least 21 years of age</strong></li>\n <li><p><strong>1–3 years of related experience</strong> working with youth or in human services preferred</p></li>\n <li><p><strong>Valid driver’s license</strong> (Class C or D)</p></li>\n <li><p>Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays</p></li>\n <li><p>Physical ability to safely perform job duties, including crisis intervention when required</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h3><strong>Skills and Knowledge</strong></h3>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Strong interpersonal and communication skills</p></li>\n <li><p>Ability to remain calm, professional, and supportive in high-stress situations</p></li>\n <li><p>Understanding of trauma-informed care and behavioral health principles</p></li>\n <li><p>Strong documentation and organizational skills</p></li>\n <li><p>Commitment to teamwork, accountability, and ethical practice</p></li>\n</ul>",
