Our Hospice Chaplains offer more than prayers and presence; they bring comfort, guidance, and meaning when it’s needed most.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We’re looking for a compassionate Hospice Chaplain to provide non-denominational spiritual and emotional support to patients and families facing end-of-life care. As a valued member of our interdisciplinary team, you’ll help ensure that no one walks this path alone.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h3><strong>What You’ll Do as a Hospice Chaplain:</strong></h3>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Provide spiritual and emotional support to patients, families, and caregivers in alignment with their beliefs and values.</p></li>\n <li><p>Offer non-denominational, inclusive care that respects all faiths, spiritual traditions, and cultural backgrounds.</p></li>\n <li><p>Serve as an integral member of the interdisciplinary team, participating in patient care conferences and collaborating with nurses, social workers, aides, and medical staff.</p></li>\n <li><p>Assess spiritual needs of patients and families and develop individualized spiritual care plans.</p></li>\n <li><p>Conduct visits, prayers, blessings, and rituals as appropriate and requested by the patient or family.</p></li>\n <li><p>Assist families during times of grief, loss, or transition, and provide bereavement support and counseling.</p></li>\n <li><p>Build relationships with local faith leaders and community resources to support patients' and families' unique spiritual needs.</p></li>\n <li><p>Maintain timely and accurate documentation of spiritual assessments, interventions, and outcomes.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p>Compensation may vary within the wage range provided based on several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s location, experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications and department equity.  Gentiva provides associates with a comprehensive benefits and total rewards package, of which base pay is just one piece.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Wage Range – $24.65-28.95/hour</p>\n<h2>About You</h2>\n<p><strong>The candidate must meet one of the following educational requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in theology, religion, human services, counseling, psychology, or sociology (or as required by state-specific regulations)</li>\n <li>A minimum of one unit of ACPE-accredited Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE)</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Note: Degrees from accredited institutions are preferred.
