    "description": "<p>Ayrton Energy's vision is to provide affordable, off-grid energy security via clean, safe and scalable hydrogen storage technologies​.  Ayrton is looking for a chemistry or chemical engineering graduate with experience in a chemical laboratory to join our team in a full time role.  As part of a fast-growing startup, the scientist in this role can anticipate a large variety of changing role responsibilities as the team grows. </p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">You will love this job if:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>You are excited to work at an early-stage startup</li>\n<li>You are organized and like following protocols for sample preparation/synthetic processes</li>\n<li>You enjoy working in cross-functional teams and feel comfortable sharing your ideas</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Your Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work with Senior Scientists to prepare materials for electrochemical testing; including blending and coatings of catalysts</li>\n<li>Work with Senior Scientists to prepare experimental equipment, and run experiments; including electrochemical test stations</li>\n<li>Preparation of chemical samples for characterization and testing</li>\n<li>Work with Senior Scientists to collect and analyze data</li>\n<li>Support with instrument maintenance, inventory management, waste disposal and other laboratory activities as needed</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Your Skills and Experience:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Undergraduate degree in chemistry, physics or engineering with chemical lab experience (may be from classes)</li>\n<li>Passionate about innovation, self-motivated and keen to learn</li>\n<li>Organized and efficiently able to manage time for laboratory protocols.</li>\n<li>Experience in a research and development laboratory environment is beneficial</li>\n<li>Experience with electrochemical systems (fuel cells, electrolysers, etc) is beneficial</li>\n<li>Knowledge of Python for data analysis is beneficial</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">At Ayrton We Value:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Honesty – We are solving hard problems and look for diversity in thought</li>\n<li>Dependability – We value action over words and will empower you to get things done</li>\n<li>Be Kind – We are a team.
