Description

Are you ready to make a significant impact in the transportation industry? As a Customer Service Coordinator (known internally as HOS Coordinator) at our company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our drivers remain in compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) HOS rules and regulations. You'll be the go-to person for our drivers, providing them with the support and guidance they need to navigate HOS rules and resolve any issues quickly and efficiently. Essential Job Duties Respond promptly to incoming calls and emails from drivers, assisting with questions related to hours of service (HOS) Provide clear instructions to drivers on how to use their electronic logging devices (ELDs) effectively Review driver logs for HOS violations and offer counseling to drivers as needed Continuously monitor driver logs to identify and correct errors Perform data entry of HOS-related files and information for accurate tracking and recordkeeping Regularly review reports to ensure driver compliance with HOS-related systems, programs, and services Conduct random audits of driver logs to maintain high standards of compliance Provide counseling to drivers for serious infractions and escalate issues when necessary Ensure accuracy of all recordkeeping and file retention practices Inventory management of ELD equipment; shipping/receiving and troubleshooting support to ensure proper use
