This role requires strong mechanical skills to maintain and repair equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and consistent product quality. The Mechanical Operator works closely to diagnose and fix machine issues promptly. They are trained operators who focuses on mechanical assembly tasks and press operations, playing a key role in keeping production running smoothly. Attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and problem-solving abilities are essential to succeed in this position.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: georgia,serif;\">&nbsp;<strong><u>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</u></strong></span></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">Assembles, sets up, and operates mechanical machines and presses used in production.</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">Troubleshoots mechanical issues on presses and related equipment to minimize downtime.</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">&nbsp;Performs routine maintenance and minor repairs on mechanical systems and presses.</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">&nbsp;Adjusts machine settings to ensure consistent product quality and efficient production flow.</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">Collaborates with maintenance and engineering teams to escalate and resolve complex equipment problems.</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">Monitors machine performance during production runs and makes necessary corrections.</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">Documents maintenance activities, repairs, and machine adjustments accurately.</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">Follows all safety, EHS, and quality guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">Trains and supports operators on mechanical procedures and proper press operation.</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">Participates in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machine reliability and efficiency.</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">Assists in the installation and setup of new mechanical equipment and presses.</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">&nbsp;Ensures proper calibration and alignment of mechanical components during setup and maintenance.</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">Maintains a clean and organized work area, supporting overall facility housekeeping standards.</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family: georgia,serif;\"><strong><u>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE</u></strong></span></p><ul><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">High school diploma or GED required.</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">1-3 years of experience operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining mechanical machines and presses, preferably in a manufacturing environment.</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of press operation and machine assembly.</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">&nbsp;Familiarity with safety standards and regulatory compliance (EHS, ISO) preferred.</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">&nbsp;Proven ability to diagnose mechanical problems and perform repairs efficiently.</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\">Knowledge in Pneumatic and hydraulic functions a plus.</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family: georgia,serif;\"><strong><u>WORK ENVIRONMENT / CONDITIONS / PHYSICAL DEMANDS</u></strong><strong>:</strong></span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: georgia,serif;\">The role requires frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting of materials up to 50 pounds.
