We are now hiring Front of House and Back of House professionals to join a restaurant built on craft, hospitality, and excellence. Carver Road Hospitality invests in, develops, and operates award-winning restaurants, lounges, and lifestyle experiences across New York City, Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, Boston, and beyond. Position Summary Ensure quality and consistency of, and properly stores, all deliveries. Interacts with fellow employees, and supervisors in a polite and courteous manner to ensure gracious hospitality. Duties and Responsibilities Possesses in-depth knowledge of receiving procedures, following company standard. Handle and store food products correctly (FIFO). Protects establishment, guests, and employees by adhering to Department of Health and Company sanitation standards. Communicates product needs to the purchaser and chefs. Properly sets-up receiving station and performs opening/closing procedures as directed by management Review and utilize daily purchase orders Wipes down and keeps receiving areas clean, orderly and sanitized Performs opening side-work as prescribed Performs closing side-work as prescribed Attends and participates in daily pre-service meetings (where applicable). Attends and participates in any training sessions or departmental meetings. Properly sets-up station and performs opening/closing procedures as directed by management. Kitchen does include vulnerability to hot kitchen elements and cleaning products. Maintain professional appearance standards as directed in the Employee Handbook. Our Ideal Candidate Candidate must be able to stand, lift and bend for extended periods of time. Candidate must be able to bend and lift to 50 lbs. Role may include job duties or tasks requiring repetitive motion. Working environment may include exposure to hot kitchen elements or cleaning materials. Candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule inclusive of varying shifts such as days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
