    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Job Description:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Under the direction of the Section Manager, IT Service Delivery or designee, the Microcomputer Specialist is responsible for providing IT customer service support to the systems users both on-site and remotely; providing support for all corporate computer assets including installation, modification, and repairs to microcomputer hardware and software systems; providing technical assistance and training for system users and determining required software and hardware in conjunction with end users at the nine Pace divisions, paratransit office, Headquarters, and approximately 25 remote contractor locations. Essential functions include:</p><ol style=\"padding-left: 27px;\"><li>Supporting software that is used today in the industry and older legacy software that is necessary for the company to function as it should.</li><li>Installing, configuring, and upgrading microcomputers and related hardware and software.</li><li>Supporting, training, and troubleshooting network hardware, software, operating systems and platforms, customized applications and fuel distribution system hardware and software.</li><li>Formulating, developing, maintaining, and implementing standards for network PC/MAC images, applications, wiring, security, and location of hardware.</li><li>Providing support for various telecommunications issues across multiple divisions and remote locations.</li><li>Maintaining asset inventory control and auditing.</li><li>Performing other duties as assigned.&nbsp;</li></ol><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Qualifications&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Education:&nbsp;</strong></p><p><span>Must have a high school diploma, with at least three years of actual intense work experience in a Windows local area network environment. A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or relevant discipline and five years’ previous experience is preferred.</span></p><p><span><strong>Experience:</strong></span></p><p>Knowledge of microcomputer and network configurations. Must have experience in microcomputer application programming and experience with Active Directory including user creation, groups, and organizational units.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Licenses/certifications:</strong></p><p>Must have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving history.</p><p><strong>Proficiencies:</strong></p><p>Must be able to install, configure, and upgrade microcomputers and related hardware and software. Experience with popular PC software packages including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and various operating systems including Windows 10, Windows Server, macOS, iOS, and android.</p><p>Must have knowledge with third party applications such as Adobe and ESR! products; Various bus and fuel software including Apollo, DriveCam, Foresight, and Fleetwatch, and other tools are essential.</p><p>Must possess strong analytical, problem solving, and interpersonal skills, be detailed and customer service oriented, be able to respond quickly within a dynamic environment with tight deadlines, possess strong written and oral communication skills, and be able to maintain confidentiality.</p><p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p><p>Must be able to lift PCs, servers, monitors, and data equipment weighing 50 lbs or more.</p><p><strong>Working Conditions:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>This position is based in an office setting, with standard office equipment, including a computer, phone, and desk space. Must be flexible with work hours including occasional evenings and weekends. This position is on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
