    "description_html": "<p><strong>Position:</strong> Middle School Pastor</p><p><strong>FLSA Status:</strong> Exempt, ministerial exception</p><p><strong>Job Status:</strong> Full-time</p><p><br></p><p>The Middle School Youth Pastor supports the Middle School Ministry team in the vision, development, and implementation of programs and events through overseeing and shepherding leaders, creating organizational systems, and collaborating with the Student Ministry Team. This position reports directly to the Student Ministry Pastor.</p><p><br></p><p><u><strong>MAJOR INITIATIVES</strong></u></p><p><br></p><p><strong>STUDENT LEADERSHIP</strong>:&nbsp;</p><p>Conduct student interviews, partner with the High School pastor in the development of the overall structure of Student Leadership, and Sunday trainings.</p><ul><li>Initial application season</li><li>Sunday trainings</li><li>Seasonal Student Leadership retreats</li></ul><p><strong>ADULT LEADERS:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Help with training, oversight, and shepherding.</p><ul><li>Small Group Leaders lead midweek groups.</li><li>Coaches oversee small-group leaders, ministry teams, and related roles.</li><li>Thrive Students are used throughout the ministry as coaches and small group leaders.</li></ul><p><strong>MIDWEEK PROGRAM:</strong>&nbsp;</p><p>Oversee coaches &amp; small group leaders, lead a small group, and manage Thrive Students.</p><ul><li>Wednesday Program (creative elements, worship, teaching, small groups)</li><li>Ministry teams (Hosting, tech, media, worship, etc.)</li></ul><p><strong>EVENTS:</strong>&nbsp;</p><p>Project-manage events, including budget oversight, registration details, coach utilization, timeline development, and vendor liaison.</p><ul><li>Seasonal events like Fall kick-off &amp; summer calendar.</li><li>Periodic connection &amp; outreach events throughout the calendar year.</li></ul><p><strong>GLOBAL INITIATIVES:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Tag team each initiative with the high school pastor</p><ul><li>Summer Camp</li><li>Thrive Unleashed Conference</li><li>Middle School Outreach (Spring)</li><li>Bi-annual DRI for Middle School Event</li></ul><p><strong>OTHER</strong></p><ul><li>Weekend Connection</li><li>Occasional speaking and teaching requirements</li></ul><p><br></p>",
