Our team aims to create more than a structure; we strive to build long-term relationships with both our employees and our clients.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Please Note: This position will require regular travel to ICI Project Sites throughout the country.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position Summary</span>:  The Safety &amp; Compliance Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring comprehensive safety programs that comply with industry regulations, ICI’s company policies, and best practices.  This position plays a critical role in protecting our people, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining the trust of our clients.  This role will also serve as the primary liaison for client-specific compliance programs, including Walmart, ensuring ICI’s policies, documentation, and work environments meet or exceed expectations.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop, implement and continuously improved ICI’s Safety and Compliance Programs to ensure adherence to OSHA, EPA and other applicable regulations, as well as client-specific requirements</li>\n<li>Foster a culture of safety awareness and accountability by modeling safe practices, promoting employee engagement, and participation in safety initiatives.</li>\n<li>Conduct regular safety walks, inspections, hazard assessments, and compliance reviews across project sites, ensuring timely follow-up on identified risks</li>\n<li>Lead and enforce compliance with critical safety procedures (including Lockout/Tagout, fall protection, confined space entry, PPE standards and other standards)</li>\n<li>Oversee incident reporting, investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action plans to prevent recurrence</li>\n<li>Ensure employees are appropriately trained in safety awareness and procedures. Deliver engaging and effective safety and compliance training for field staff and project teams</li>\n<li>Maintain and regularly update all safety and compliance policies, manuals, and training materials in alignment with industry standards, regulatory changes, and client-specific directives</li>\n<li>Conduct and document internal compliance audits of jobsites, trailers, and project documentation, driving accountability for corrective actions.</li>\n<li>Manage environmental compliance, including stormwater management, hazardous waste handling, spill prevention and air quality controls</li>\n<li>Serve as primary liaison for client compliance programs (e.g. Walmart), ensuring ICI’s plans, policies, trailer setups, and audit checklists meet or exceed client expectations</li>\n<li>Establish standardized procedures and documentation for project trailers, safety binders, and compliance materials to ensure consistency across projects</li>\n<li>Develop and track key safety performance indicators (KPSs), providing regular reports and recommendations to leadership</li>\n<li>Stay informed on emergency safety regulations, technologies, and best practices and advise leadership on proactive strategies</li>\n<li>Travel to both local and out of town project sites approximately 3 to 4 days per week as required</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Skills and Competencies</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Expert knowledge of OSHA regulations, construction safety standards, and best practices</li>\n<li>Proven leadership, training and coaching abilities with the skill to influence all levels of the organization</li>\n<li>Strong risk assessment, hazard mitigation, and problem-solving skills</li>\n<li>Experience managing large-scale construction safety programs (Walmart or similar preferred)</li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills, written and verbal</li>\n<li>Flexible, adaptable, and collaborative team player with strong time-management skills</li>\n<li>Professional presence and demeanor in all interactions</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Education and Experience</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in construction management, occupational safety or similar preferred</li>\n<li>Minimum 5+ years leadership experience in construction safety and compliance</li>\n<li>Experience with large-scale construction compliance programs (e.g., Walmart) preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must have a valid driver’s license</li>\n<li>OSHA 30 Hour Certification (Required)</li>\n<li>OSHA 510, 500, CHST, CSP Certifications (Preferred)</li>\n<li>Ability to obtain the Walmart Safety, Employment, Waste, Stormwater Compliance Certification <br>within 1 month of hire</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Physical Requirements:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Position requires walking on rough/uneven terrain, frequent pushing/pulling/carrying of equipment/objects/debris of varying and often awkward sizes, shapes, and weights, including bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing on the job site.</li>\n<li>Sitting, standing and walking for extended periods.
