Description

As a Vibration Technician you will gather and analyze vibration data on rotating equipment throughout the refinery in a safe and effective manner. See below to learn more about what all this job opportunity entails. Provides continuous vibration monitoring on major rotating equipment. Gathers monthly vibration readings on rotating equipment in each complex. Analyzes data to determine condition of equipment. Generates monthly reports on each area and creates work requests in SAP on equipment needing repairs. Assists with determining root cause failure analysis. Maintains the list of equipment in the Vibration Monitoring Program and make necessary changes whenever equipment is changed or replaced. Sends out the monthly KPI report to the ROTO Engineers with condition monitoring findings. Sends out the monthly "Overdue for Monitoring" list to each complex. This position is hourly nonexempt status, which means you are eligible for overtime pay.
